[It's early morning. The normally busy area is quite barren of people at this hour, but there's sure to be a few awake. Like the Zexion reclining by a dim candle, thick book in hand.

Whoever walks through on their way to breakfast or other business will suddenly feel something warm and wet dripping on them, like warm rain.

It would be entirely possible, if this weren't an area with a ceiling overhead. The droplets hitting them are red. Do they dare look up for the source?]

[She looks shocked when he actually speaks, but that and her confusion quickly changes and she's furious. She gently strokes his face with her thumbs, shaking her head.]

I'm not going to let you.

[unforgivenskies]

[Seeing her so angry is intimidating, and disconcerting with how gentle she's being. He swallows, his eyes drifting down to her chin. He figures he may as well admit it.]

I can't stop... looking at you, Riku.

[dawnrise]

[She freezes, then turns apologetic, taking her hands back.]

Sorry. You can look wherever you want.

[unforgivenskies]

[He smiles anyway, his eyes closing now that he can keep them closed. He really didn't want to have to watch her the whole time; that would have made this even more terrible. Sora does miss how warm her hands were, though.]

Picked a room near Christmas Town, huh Riku?

[dawnrise]

[She's reaching for the wire again when he speaks, and stops moving.]

How did you know?

[unforgivenskies]

[He sighs, knowing what she's doing but prepared for her to start again this time.]

It's cold in here.

[dawnrise]

[That simple statement scares her, and she reaches up to brush his hair out of his face again.]

It won't take much longer.

[He smiles again, then takes a steadying breath.]

I'm ready.

[dawnrise]

[Riku nods and starts up on that next wire, frowning. What's she supposed to do with him once she has them all out? She has plenty of bandages and disinfectants, but he's lost so much blood. Should she trust Halloween Town blood for him? She can't use her own. Too high of a risk for infection. She doubts Sora wants to be a werewolf.]

[unforgivenskies]

[She'll be able to hear the whimper he makes this time before he cuts it off. His eyes are firmly shut and jaw clenched as it's removed, and he's holding his breath until it's clear. Even if he didn't care whether she turned him into a werewolf, he'd be horrified if she decided to gash herself or something to try to share her own blood. Water would be good, juice would be better. As much as he'd like some aspirin, even Sora knows that's a bad idea.]

[She actually has some understanding of how blood transfusions work, thanks. She would get the necessary tools for that first, because cutting herself open isn't going to help him any. Her only real choice is Halloween Town blood. It might not be ideal, but it's her only current option.]

How long did he have you up there?

[unforgivenskies]

[He has no idea how any of that would work. The most he's seen is a nurse drawing blood for tests.]

Since.. sometime last night. I got up because I was hungry and was trying to go to a kitchen. I don't really know how long ago that was.

[dawnrise]

[She breaths in deeply, not responding again. She's fished that wire out, now she's working on another one.]

[unforgivenskies]

[It's a good distraction for him, and he rambles on even if it's not the best memory.]

I didn't even know he was there. One minute I walked into the room and the next I just knew it hurt everywhere. I guess I was too loud when he put me up in the air... He told me to be quiet and, well. You know the rest I guess.

[dawnrise]

Yeah, I do. I know him. He's caught me before, too.

[Which is certainly not the most pleasant memory.]

[unforgivenskies]

Did you get him this time, Riku? He wouldn't just let you leave with me, would he?

[He sounds really hopeful that she did.]

[dawnrise]

[She stops what she's doing abruptly, but doesn't look at Sora, and gets back to it after only a few seconds.]

He would.

[unforgivenskies]

[He practically deflates at that.]

Oh. Well... Be careful, okay?

[dawnrise]

If there was any other way to get these out I promise I'd be doing that.

[She's being as careful as she can.]

[unforgivenskies]

[He breathes out a laugh, mindful of how much it would hurt if he were any louder.]

Of Zexion, silly.

[dawnrise]

[She looks up at him then, eyebrows raised. That thought didn't even pass through her mind.]

If he wanted to hurt me he's already had the opportunity.

[unforgivenskies]

[His eyes are still closed, and there's a pinched look to his face as he rides out the pain. She's gotten most of the wires out by now, with just below the waist left.]

I'll worry if I want to, okay?

[dawnrise]

[She smiles a little, but turns her face away again to look at what she's doing. She's going to have to remove his pants, isn't she?]

[unforgivenskies]

[He at least has underwear on, and can hardly give a damn right now if she has to cut through his sleep pants. Even if it means she'll see the paopus and teddy bears on his underwear.]

[dawnrise]

[She doesn't think he'll care, she's mostly concerned about having to move him further, even just from cutting them off. There's a pair of scissors in the first-aid kit, and it seems a little less jarring than her keyblade, so she grabs those and gets back to work.]
