[It's early morning. The normally busy area is quite barren of people at this hour, but there's sure to be a few awake. Like the Zexion reclining by a dim candle, thick book in hand.

Whoever walks through on their way to breakfast or other business will suddenly feel something warm and wet dripping on them, like warm rain.

It would be entirely possible, if this weren't an area with a ceiling overhead. The droplets hitting them are red. Do they dare look up for the source?]

[The fact that there's a Zexion nearby at all has Riku on edge, but when she heads through the area and feels something on her head, it makes her freeze and press a hand to that spot. She doesn't move it before looking up.]

[There's a Sora in red, long sleeved pajamas hanging in mid-air a few feet from the ceiling. He's unconscious, and at first looks as if he's levitating in his sleep, arms and legs akimbo quite like he's ready to walk or move at any moment.

Slow changes in the light to reflect the dawn coming makes something in the air surrounding him gleam. There's what seems to be translucent wire strung from the ceiling to disappear into his clothes. As she watches, a fat red droplet gathers at his elbow to drop down on her again.]

[dawnrise]

[Riku's other hand quickly comes around to cover her mouth in horror, her face going pale and upset, almost sick. She doesn't look around first, even though she should. She summons her keyblade immediately. How does she get him down without hurting him further?]

[There's the sound of a page turning, but otherwise Zexion is still at ease. He isn't even looking up, but there's an audible smile in his voice.]

Have you ever noticed just how well he suits as a puppet? Tell him- no, command him, and he'll do whatever you like.

[dawnrise]

[She grits her teeth but doesn't turn to look at him. She raises her Keybalde in his direction, tone furious.]

Get out.

[unforgivenskies]

[There's not even a flicker of movement; its as if Zexion was never there at all. Except for the taut wires still embedded high in the walls, of course. Sora doesn't react at all.. at first.

It begins with the twitch of an arm, then suddenly he's moving jerkily in a macabre dance and making blood drip down like rain. He stops soon after he starts, his head lolling to the side.]

[dawnrise]

[She has to bite back a scream and look away, to the wires, to stop herself from feeling sick. But as soon as he's still she's leaping up to cut through them fast enough to prevent him from hanging there by one thing or another, and, hopefully, to get cut further. She can easily catch him.]

[The wire makes a sound like a snapped bowstring as she slices through it, and Sora falls without a sound. He's still breathing, but once she has them settled on the floor she'll be able to tell that his pajamas are only red from his own blood soaking through, with wire disappearing into the cloth from all directions.]

[She lays him down very carefully. The keyblade vanishes and she starts unbuttoning his shirt before anything, to take in the damage. It's so much blood, she's surprised he is alive.]

[She'll find that the wires go straight through his skin at multiple points, mostly at joints and bypassing organs. Much of it is starting to congeal or scab over and is surrounded by inflamed skin, covered in streaks of blood where the clothing isn't sticking. The stench of it is strong. It's obvious where some scabs were ripped open from his recent performance, with blood flowing more freely. It's a blessing that he hasn't woken yet.]

[It's a good thing she's had so much time to steel herself against things like this, and that the smell of blood is something she's grown used to. She covers her mouth again once she has his shirt completely open, trying to figure out where to start, or what would be best... This is something more suited to Red's skill set, maybe even Axel's, considering who did this to him. Can she even get him loose without damaging him further, or worse?]

[unforgivenskies]

[She'll have to pull the wires out one at a time. They're smooth, thin and flexible, so the only thing that would make it hard to pull them out is the way his body is trying to heal around them. There was Zexion's chakra holding them more securely as he jerked Sora around, but it's gone now. Not that she'd be able to tell.]

[dawnrise]

[She can smell darkness, not chakra. She's about ready to call Red, but instead of doing that she takes hold of one of the wires, one not centered near something vital, and tugs on it. Very, very gently. Just to see how secure they are.]

[unforgivenskies]

[There's some slight resistance, and more blood wells up as she tugs. Sora doesn't so much as twitch.]

[dawnrise]

[That's not very reassuring. She's going to have to transport him immediately somewhere. Is there an infirmary anywhere nearby? Maybe Halloween Town. But right now she just wants to know if it's possible to pull them out at all.]

[unforgivenskies]

[It's possible, and the most resistance would actually come from the scabs his body created getting stuck on the wire and getting pulled through as well. As for what's around, it's a fairly well-traveled area because of the options for residents, more of whom are going to be coming through soon. She'd be more likely to hit Halloweentown before she finds an actual infirmary, though. Riku may want to move simply because someone might think she's the reason this happened to Sora.]

[dawnrise]

[As if anyone who knows her would think she could possibly do something like this. Not to a Sora. Not a chance in hell. But there are plenty of people who don't know her, and the floor is a bad place for this anyway. As soon as she's managed to get that wire out, she drops it on the ground, in the blood, and then carefully lifts Sora up. Halloween Town is a bad option, especially as far as cleanliness goes. Not to mention what could happen to Sora if he does die in there. No, she'll take him to an empty room.]

[His head flops back as he's moved, and she'll be able to feel some wires bending against her. It's a good thing she's used to blood, because whatever she's wearing is going to stained wherever she's touching him. He's going to be a dead weight against her, and in fact looks to be quite dead already until someone checks his breathing and pulse.]

[dawnrise]

[The feel of the wires makes her edge toward being sick again, but Riku has a strong stomach, and only adjusts her grip so Sora is held more protectively. She is taking him to Halloween Town, but not directly. To a room nearby, and a couch, or possibly a bed. When they get there she sets him down gently, and then checks his pulse. How's it feeling?]

[Sora's pulse is quick and as strong as could be expected in a situation like this. His body is trying to make up for the loss of blood but with so many punctures it just seeps right out where it can. His head rolls to the side limply as she sets him down, and his eyes open to look directly ahead, though they're out of focus from the pain. Sora doesn't say anything, but his eyes quickly grow wet at seeing her.]

[dawnrise]

[She looks shocked when he opens his eyes, and quickly lowers herself into a crouch beside him, one hand moving to his face. Seeing that face in so much pain hurts her.]

Don't move. I'm going to get these out of you, I promise.

[unforgivenskies]

[His eyes close again when her hand touches him, but she doesn't get much more of a response. He's still awake, but he doesn't want to watch. At least her touch is a comforting one.]

[dawnrise]

[Riku switches to prop herself up on her knees, the hand on his face moving just barely, while the other one goes to a wire. Then she hesitates.]

I'll make this as fast as possible. I can't Cure you until I'm done or you'll heal around the wires.

[unforgivenskies]

[She feel the nod more than see it. Sora takes a deeper breath, wanting to hold it when she yanks.]

[dawnrise]

[She won't be yanking. She moves her hand completely so she can have both of them to pull the first one out, carefully, in one continuous motion.]
