[It's early morning. The normally busy area is quite barren of people at this hour, but there's sure to be a few awake. Like the Zexion reclining by a dim candle, thick book in hand.

Whoever walks through on their way to breakfast or other business will suddenly feel something warm and wet dripping on them, like warm rain.

It would be entirely possible, if this weren't an area with a ceiling overhead. The droplets hitting them are red. Do they dare look up for the source?]

[She smiles a little, but turns her face away again to look at what she's doing. She's going to have to remove his pants, isn't she?]

[unforgivenskies]

[He at least has underwear on, and can hardly give a damn right now if she has to cut through his sleep pants. Even if it means she'll see the paopus and teddy bears on his underwear.]

[dawnrise]

[She doesn't think he'll care, she's mostly concerned about having to move him further, even just from cutting them off. There's a pair of scissors in the first-aid kit, and it seems a little less jarring than her keyblade, so she grabs those and gets back to work.]

[He lets himself relax as she cuts, even if it means the room will feel even colder. Sora barely even reacts to any wires she touches while doing this.]

[dawnrise]

[Well she gets the pants off of him and drops them on the floor, looking back to see what else she has to take care of.]

[His legs look like pincushions, but not as much as his upper body did. Much of his blood is trying to dry from how long it took to remove the others, but she'll find he still won't react as much when she starts removing these.]

[dawnrise]

[That's... She's not really sure that's a good sign, but she keeps working anyway. Maybe she can go through these faster.]

[Faster, slower, it almost feels the same to him. She'll know when she has a sensitive one when he makes a noise, but the worst reaction is from one that's surrounded by angry red skin. That seems to wake him from his doze, his back arching from how much that one hurts to be pulled on.]

[dawnrise]

[She stops immediately, hands moving up near her head. There's something wrong here. She doesn't want to do this anymore.]

Sora?

[unforgivenskies]

It hurts, it hurts, it hurts...

[He's tense now, and his face has gone almost white. Not only blood is welling up from this one, but a milky yellowish substance that can only mean infection.]

[dawnrise]

[That's it, then. She drops her head in her hands, elbows on her knees. Zexion's done something to rig this one, she's sure of it, something that will make everything worse and kill Sora if she tries to get it out. She pushes her hair back, smearing blood in it, and takes hold of one of his hands.]

It's okay. It's over.

[unforgivenskies]

[His hand tightens around hers as he focuses on breathing. He isn't sure what she means, since he can still feel it throbbing in the back of his leg.]

Riku?

[dawnrise]

[She isn't either, to be honest, but she doesn't want to risk pulling that one out any further. She's not a doctor. She has no idea what further damage this could do, even if he hasn't done anything. She doesn't have anything to treat an infection.]

I can't get this one out without making it worse.

[unforgivenskies]

Are you sure? I- I can be quiet, or you can tell me to be quiet.

[He's scared of having it pulled out, but he's just as scared of leaving it in there.]

[dawnrise]

I'm not going to do that to you.

[She's not going to use that to her advantage. The idea makes he sick.]

What about.. saving it for last, then?

[He feels bad for suggesting it, but he doesn't know what else to do. There's the option of pulling it out himself, but he might do even more damage trying.]

[dawnrise]

[He might. She takes a moment to consider it, but then she sighs and turns back to the others. She doesn't move her hand from his.]

[unforgivenskies]

[He doesn't let go, though he does squeeze harder now and then. He's trying to be quiet and otherwise not react, for her sake.]

[dawnrise]

[She can tell, and she feels bad for that. She's not saying anything herself, again getting them out as quickly as possible.]

[It won't be too long before they're back to the infected one, then. As much better as the rest of him feels in comparison, he knows when that's the only one left. He turns his head to press his face further into the bed, his hand already starting to grip hers tighter.]

Ready, Riku.

[dawnrise]

[Good thing he is, because she really isn't. She hesitates much longer than she should, but finally she squeezes his hand, takes hold of the wire, and starts again to pull it out.]

[unforgivenskies]

[He sucks in a sharp breath, and his hand can't hold on to hers any tighter. It pulls through smoother once the scab stuck to it from the opposite side is cleared through, but he won't make it that far before his body suddenly relaxes as he passes out.]

[dawnrise]

[Oh no. Not after all that. She drops the wire and wipes her hands off on her jeans, moving her hands to his face again.]

Sora, wake up. You can't sleep yet.

[unforgivenskies]

[He's still alive, but his body seems to have decided it's reached its limit on how much it can handle, again. He's harder to wake up this time.]

[dawnrise]

[She puts her hands to his neck to check his pulse, trying not to get too panicked. When she's satisfied he's still alive she starts bandaging the remaining clear ones, applying what little she can to the infected one. When that's done, she's casting a direct Cure on him.]
