[There is an absolutely massive web strung up between a couple of lamp posts that are relatively close to each other. The webbing is thick, great ropes of spider-silk easily the size of an adult's wrist in several places. The posts themselves are absolutely covered in it, the light almost completely blocked off and leaving the area in an eerie glow. In the middle of the web is a human-sized victim. Long and thick enough to give no clues as to who it is inside, anyone who may come across it will get the distinct feeling that whatever's inside there is at least still alive.

Hidden in the shadows nearby, a spider befitting the web waits.]

[He pauses, then awkwardly dries his hands off so he can try and turn int her hug to return it.]

[She will let go and move back enough that he can do that, but she'll definitely be hugging him once he's ready.]

[He returns the hug as tightly as he can without hurting her. God, he had missed her something fierce.]

[She snorts.]

For you dying, even if I couldn't have done anything. Even if you were stupid enough to get involved in the first place, and neither of us are powerful enough to fight him.

[You know what, instead of responding he is just going to kiss her.]

[She was not expecting that. It makes her feel a little silly, to be honest, but she won't complain.]

Next time you feel like apologizing, just punch me for being an idiot instead.

[Something seems to occur to him and he grins slightly.]

Just don't hit too hard if you're going to be punching me multiple times.

[She hauls off and hits him in the arm.]

[And he winces- apparently he didn't even turn off pain in preparation!]

[Oh good. That was somewhat therapeutic. But she's going to kiss him again afterward anyway.]

Yeah. Hopefully it won't need to happen again.

[She nods, but not without a small sigh.]

[Now... she should be laying down, he thinks. She's injured, after all!]

[They should at the very least leave the bathroom!]

You missed another fight.

[Yeah she's going to do that, at least walk out of there as she talks. Her bathroom is pretty spacious, but the rest of her apartment is just more comfortable.]

[He follows on after her, hands moving back to his pockets.]

[At least, not physical. She stops at the railing that separates her bedroom from the rest of the living room, staring across the room and out the window.]
