[There is an absolutely massive web strung up between a couple of lamp posts that are relatively close to each other. The webbing is thick, great ropes of spider-silk easily the size of an adult's wrist in several places. The posts themselves are absolutely covered in it, the light almost completely blocked off and leaving the area in an eerie glow. In the middle of the web is a human-sized victim. Long and thick enough to give no clues as to who it is inside, anyone who may come across it will get the distinct feeling that whatever's inside there is at least still alive.

Hidden in the shadows nearby, a spider befitting the web waits.]

[She doesn't get what he means. Regarding the issue with Hachibi, with Axel, in general... what?]

Well, you don't seem ready to sleep, and I'm apparently not going anywhere, so what now?

[No, he's not suggesting sex. He would never while Riku's injured.]

Why would I sleep when you just got back?

[She's looking at him like he's nuts. Also she would totally suggest sex while she was injured, but she's not right now.]

Because you had to fight while injured? I don't know. It's not like I would have tried to leave anyway.

[Have a blank look.]

Do you have any idea how much I've been resting since I got this thing?

A lot, I'd imagine, with someone like Kai as a best friend.

A lot.

[She stretches out and ends up flopping on her back, stretch her arms out to the sides.]

...how did it feel to be back home?

A little strange, honestly. It was weird not having anything bright.

Bright how?

[She doesn't think he means streetlamps.]

You've been to Halloween Town, right? Not exactly a bright and colourful place. I've gotten too used to here. Even when I visit Halloween Town, I still come back to all this colour.

Right...

[It's not hard for her to imagine. She's never spent more than a day in Halloween Town, but she spent ages in the dark realm.]

[Yeah. Not quite the same thing, but enough that it's easy to sympathize.]

But I'm back now, so it doesn't much matter.

[She nods at that, forced to agree. Then she pauses.]

I'm glad you're back.

So am I.

[Because really, what's even keeping him in Halloween Town anymore? Familiarity? He'll take his friendship over that, thanks.]

[She turns her head up to smile at him again. She would feel a little bad if he seemed like he missed Halloween Town more, but ultimately she doesn't care. She wants him to stay here.]

[You know what, he's going to kiss her. He really is glad to be back, where he has someone who actually cares about him.]

[She will be a little surprised, but her hand will go to the back of his neck to keep him there. Awfully affectionate of you, Red. She can blame him, though, after not seeing him for over two weeks because he died.]

[He's not going anywhere. That kiss is maybe just a touch too affectionate compared to normal, maybe a little needy, but fuck he missed her, missed here more than he ever thought he would.]

[This is a little alarming, maybe, in a way that makes her think about everything that happened while he was gone and a couple talks she had. She's not about to break out of the kiss or anything, but it makes her nervous that she's going to be too obvious about how much she missed him. That's just what she needs. For him to come back and her to fuck things up.]

[He eventually pulls away, cracking a grin that's just a little bit weak, like he's trying to casually brush away how everything that kiss was and failing somewhat.]

So. We still need to think of something to pass the time with.

[Well, of course he is. It's supposed to be casual. That's just how it is, right? Of course it is. Riku tilts her head at that, wrinkling her nose slightly at being forced to think.]

Any ideas?

Not a clue. Got any movies?

[They would be on the bookcase, which is what she's looking at now. There's not a lot.]

[He's going to move over to look at them, unless she's decided to keep hanging onto him.]

[No she is not hanging onto him. She'll let him go and sit up, making sure only to wince when he's not looking at her anymore.]
