[How goes your day, DR residents? Hopefully it's going better than this guy's day is...actually, it probably is.

'This guy' is a Riku-looking person who just arrived near the apartments. He doesn't look too strange--he's wearing a long zip-up t-shirt with a shorter sleeveless vest over it, baggy pants with a ridiculous amount of pockets, and sandals. The unusual part is the length of chain hanging from his neck, attached to a cloth-looking collar.

He's currently attempting to tie the chain in knots out of sheer panic. He's visibly worried, glancing around frantically, looking for the people he's really not supposed to be be away from.]

Riku, where the hell did you leave me this time? This isn't funny.

Are you okay?

[Sora has a small armful of groceries, mostly corner store things like bread and milk and cookies, but she's stopping before she heads home to check on this guy. she can't tell at first glance if it's a Riku or a Replica, but she figures he'll say if they get to introductions.]

He's startled by Sora, dropping the chain he was worrying with his hands.]

No, I...I can't find Riku and I'd rather not get in trouble again because I lost him.

[By 'get in trouble' he means 'get his ass kicked'.]

[her eyes drop to the chain momentarily and she frowns, but doesn't mention it just yet.]

Is it a specific Riku?

[she chews on her lip for a moment, looking around. she hadn't seen any so far today.]

[Oh god, there are multiple Rikus? Don't tell him that, he'll never go outside again.]

He looks like me? Goes by 'Ansem' half of the time.

[oh man the face she makes at that!]

Ew, no one I've ever met that went by that name was good. But, um. I haven't seen any Rikus going around calling themselves Ansem, sorry.

[He tends to make faces at Ansem, too. Behind his back, mostly.

He relaxes the tiniest bit when he hears that neither of them seem to be around. Just a tiny bit, though, they could still be somewhere Sora hasn't been.]

He's not as bad as Riku. Just because he's stronger...

[The rest of the sentence turns into irritated mumbling as Riku gets momentarily distracted with finding the clasp on the chain and disconnecting it from the collar.]

[she sounds astonished. and sort of horrified! Ansems aren't exactly good people!]

That's- that's-

[she doesn't even know what word to use.]

[He'd have to agree, but compared to the somewhat unstable Riku he knows, the Ansem he knows isn't that bad. Also he's not the best person to judge anyway.]

...Yeah, really.

[He seems more uncomfortable than panicky now, and is unconsciously wrapping the now disconnected chain around one hand.]

That's what?

[Absurd? Wrong? Completely nuts? Are we getting warmer?]

[she looks so sad suddenly, thinking about what could have happened to make a Riku like that.]

She can also see that he's clearly upset, and hurries over to him.]

Do you need some help?

[Yay, that's good. Possibly.]

I don't know if you can. I'm stuck...wherever this place is and...uh...

[And then he just kinda gives up talking and stares at her instead, confused because he feels like he should know her, but can't quite place her name.]

[She can also sense that his memory has been tampered with. But without the details, she'd have trouble trying to fix it. So she wont touch the subject of that. Yet.

Sighs.]

I'm sorry. This place, it kind of traps you here. There's a chance it could send you home one day, but there's no way of knowing for sure.

[Oh, if he knew that, he'd ask her to try to fix it in any way she could.]

I'd be trapped anyway. I'm useless when it comes to travelling to other worlds...I can't open corridors at all.

[If he asked her to, she'd try. It'd just likely take a while since she's not the one who changed his memories in the first place.

Tilts her head a little....That Darkness is gone. Perhaps he never had it to begin with? She'd have to know more about his world to be sure.]

...I cant really travel like that either. I can create portals, but traveling through them without any protection from the Darkness would damage my Heart.

[He definitely had it before, and if she looks hard enough, she might notices a little bit of darkness still left in him.]

How would you protect yourself from the darkness? Magic?

[She does sense that, and it makes her curious. This boy in general makes her curious.

Shakes her head.]

There's a coat that members of the organization wear that protects their bodies from the Darkness in the Corridors. I could get one, but I'd rather not affiliate myself with them. I'll travel the old fashioned way.

[He looks confused for a second.]

No one ever told me that. Figures. I thought that was just their uniform.

[He pauses.]

Hey, this has been bugging me, but do I know you? Because I feel like I should, but I can't think of your name.

What are you talking about? I didn't leave you anywhere.

[... So says the Riku that's come to stand behind him. Oh look, he's shorter. He also looks annoyed.]

[He jumps like he was electrocuted, turning and backing up from the other Riku, looking like he's about to be attacked.]

What are you talking about? I didn't get here by myself! You know I can't...uh.

...Riku?

[He did get get shorter. What's up with that?]

[The Darkness in him is practically breathable, and there's no mistaken those golden eyes.]

Can't open portals! And yeah...I am.

[He doesn't sound too sure of the second part. And he does notice the eyes. His 'Riku' usually only has the eye change if he's about to swap places with Ansem.

He's still not sure why Riku is shorter.]

[The question only grants Riku an are you really that stupid look. He doesn't bother to answer it.]

Oh, that's a good idea. Really. You can't do something as simple as opening a portal, so you blame someone who can. Ever stop to think that maybe you're just not good enough?

[He's got one hand clenched in a fist and is trying to keep himself from just punching Riku in the face. He might be easier to take out if he's smaller.

He does not feel like having one of these arguments again.]

[He's pretty good at that. He's also quick to notice the reaction, his eyes narrowing before he simply smirks. A few faint wisps of Darkness rise from him moments before his armor appears.]

You really think you could hurt me? Hah. Bring it on.

[Okay, yeah, he's gonna try for the face-punching. The numerous scars hidden under his shirt and the presence of Riku's armor might suggest that this is a horrible idea and not to do it, but he doesn't really care.]

I can try. Stop underestimating me just because I'm a Replica.
