[ We all know how that Riku has taken to the change, but what about some others?

There are other people, like, say, a

healerclass who has taken to the second story window a nice little home to peer around with a pair of large hot pink binoculars. She's watching this

knighttildawn patrol the bridge in armor. On the other side of the neighborhood, an

dawningcoast has dropped her bags of groceries she was taking home to haul ass after her son. Baby Aden has decided that clothes are unnecessary. As for the older

hallowedshore? He's not actually sure he likes this change. He's sticking to the apartments for now, sitting on the roof with his legs hanging dangerously over the edge.

Down below, a

hidesandseeks is going around trying to figure out where all of her friends and family now live, and

royaltentacles is slinking through alleyways only once night has fallen. No one probably cares where

thundery is, and that's just fine with him. He's laid claim to a pretty little castle. ]

I'm used to it. Though I'm glad to see you, Auntie Piku-pie. Where are you living now?

[She looks around, then points toward one area of the neighborhood a little ways off.]

A house over there. Come on, I'll show you.

Alright. I'll be glad to visit. And I need to know where you live!

[She starts heading back to where her fallen bags of food are, thank you Aden. One of his toys is lying on the sidewalk some distance away, too.]

You'll know where we live along with Kai, Axel, and Inaya. We're almost in the same house.

[Technically. It's actually a duplex, so it's more like two houses in one. It's cozy!]

... Daddy's freaking out.

[that sounds like a nice setup!]

I know.

[She doesn't even have to see him to know.]

What about?

About everything changing. We're still in the apartment building, but out house is, like, practically the whole floor now. I don't know if we're going to move.

[Raze is the toy. She is currently juggling Aden as she picks up groceries, because she's not about to put him back down so he can run off again.]

Oh, sure.

[she doesn't even flinch as she picks up the toy]

And I think Daddy would prefer to be with the rest of the family. It's weird that we didn't get moved automatically too.

I don't know. It was a pretty big shock to wake up to.

[She would have liked some warning.]

With all my baby siblings, it might take some time before we move. You'll have to talk to Daddy about it.

[waves the toy at Aden]

I will. I want to know what he thinks of all this.

[She manages to grab Aden's attention with that. He's not screeching anymore, anyway!]

[she makes the toy ~~dance~~ lurch hideously]

Good luck. He's been acting weird even before this, and it made him worse. He might give himself a coronary or something.

[He makes a twittering little noise and reaches out for her.]

I know how to handle your dad, Kira. But maybe I'll take some sedatives.

[that's cute! and Kira will take Aden in her arms again if it's allowed]

This is sort of different somehow. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I'll make sure not to.

[She's allowed! Riku approves of having more room to carry her groceries, and Aden definitely wants to be over there with her right now, even if he's still grumpy.]

Is Aden actually talking using... people noises yet?

[she will make sure she has a good grip on Aden, wiggling the toy some more]

[Riku frowns a little, glancing over at her baby briefly. They're getting closer to the house.]

He can. He just doesn't like to. He might if you try, though.

Awww. He's holding out on me then. Aden, do you know who I am? I'm Kira! Can you say Kira?

[Aden ignores her for now, going for poor Raze with his tiny teeth again. Maybe he's shy. Try again?]

Please, Aden? Don't you love your favorite babysitter?

[He pauses and releases his bite on Raze, only to replace it with his hand. Om nom, hand. He blinks his big bright eyes up at her, then looks back down and mumbles quietly. It might've been a 'Kira'.]

He said my name! Did you hear, Auntie-Piku-pie?! He said my name!

[Aden is getting a kiss on the cheek and a happy bounce]

I heard it.

[She's smiling and looking very amused. Aden, meanwhile, makes a growly sort of noise at the kiss then ends up against Kira and leaning heavily against her. He moves his hand a little, and this time it's much clearer when he says her name.]

[Kira hugs Aden close, bouncing happily when she hears her name again]

That's right! I'm Kira! I'm your best cousin!
