There are other people, like, say, a

healerclass who has taken to the second story window a nice little home to peer around with a pair of large hot pink binoculars. She's watching this

knighttildawn patrol the bridge in armor. On the other side of the neighborhood, an

dawningcoast has dropped her bags of groceries she was taking home to haul ass after her son. Baby Aden has decided that clothes are unnecessary. As for the older

hallowedshore? He's not actually sure he likes this change. He's sticking to the apartments for now, sitting on the roof with his legs hanging dangerously over the edge.

Down below, a

hidesandseeks is going around trying to figure out where all of her friends and family now live, and

royaltentacles is slinking through alleyways only once night has fallen. No one probably cares where

thundery is, and that's just fine with him. He's laid claim to a pretty little castle. ]

Hopefully it's just a phase. Aden speaks fine in the future.

Aden's very verbal, and really smart. He's the best.

[But he doesn't want to be picked up. He's plopped onto his butt quite comfortably in there. Riku's smiling and looking maybe a little proud.]

He takes more after Uncle Red, but he's sort of like you on the inside.

[Kira's voice is very fond, since it's obvious she cares about Aden very much]

[Riku has to laugh at that.]

I was hoping he would take after him.

[The fondness isn't lost on her, either. It makes her very happy.]

Really? Why? I thought parents want their kids to be like them.

[Kira is shining with Light because she's happy too]

I do want him to take after one of his parents. Just not me. Well, a little of me, but I like seeing Red in him.

[Besides, Rikus are jerks.]

I think he's the perfect mix of you and Uncle Red. But Aden is Aden. He's... himself. And he's best that way. I don't know if that makes sense.

Hm. I like hearing that.

[She leans down a little to mess with a tuft of Aden's hair. It makes him look up at her, and she smiles even more.]

... he's gonna be an ass when he turns into a teenager, but he still loves you lots. At least he didn't get all emo like Rikka.

Now that sounds more like our kid.

[The'ass part, she means. But there's something that darkens in her eyes when Rikka's mentioned, a flicker of intense concern that's gone as soon as it appeared.]

He's a tricky sort of person. Also has a thing for things with too many legs.

I hope you mean insects and not girls.

[She'd love Aden no matter what, but she'd prefer he kept it to a limit of four limbs.]

[Aden screeches and reaches to grab onto said monster. He'll eat him first!]

I didn't think you would. Parents get weird about hearing those sorts of things.

[Kira giggles and wiggles the toy... monster is trying to get away Aden, catch it!]

You would know. Anyway, can you watch him for a minute?

[She kind of set that bag of food down on the dresser, but she needs to put those things away. Meanwhile, Aden is climbing back up to his feet to go after that monster!!]

Of course, Auntie Piku-pie. We'll just be playing.

[Kira makes the monster ~~hop~~ lurch horribly to get away~]

[sudden monster attack! nomming Aden's tummy!]

[He will squeal with laughter!]
