[As usual, this year's party is held at the ball room. Dance music is already playing, mixed in together with creepy sounds and howls. The decorations are creepy at its best, and there are skeletal waiters walking around this time.

The tables are laden with food for various monsters, ghost, blood for the vampires, candy for the children, and normal food for those who are somewhat normal. Though if you're not in costume, that ugly fish sculpture at the giant punch bowl will spew a liquid at you rudely from it's mouth that will immediately put you into a random costume. If you keep hitting it, it will keep doing it, changing your costume into something worse every time.

Gatecrashers with bad intentions will be grabbed, wrapped and tossed out of the room by that giant spider up there on the ceiling, and it will also grab you if you're being selfish to the kiddies about giving them candy.

For those who lack dancing partners, some of those manakins are not there for show. Those will come to life and ~~harass~~ dance with you if you look a little lonely.

By the way, his body hasn't really changed from when he was human. He used to help his father work as a blacksmith. He has some pretty good muscle definition there.]

[Kinda. She's leaning against the wall, sitting on the floor, looking pathetic. What is she even doing with her life.]

[Was in a hurry and didn't bother finding a shirt before walking out of his room to look for her. Oh hi. What are you doing on the floor?]

[For the record, her face is buried in her arms, knees pulled to her chin. She set the candy down next to the door. Have at it.]

[Frowns and sits down next to her, ignoring the candy. She is more important right now.]

What's wrong?

... 'm not sure. Maybe... I'm just really pathetic in this world. As much as I tell you sometimes to go away or sometimes I leave you myself... I can't really do anything without you. I'm helpless.

[......Well he wasn't expecting that.]

....What do you mean?

[Costumes aside, there were real scary people in that party. And right now, he's the only person she can count on.]

[Until he becomes scary again at least.

[She'll jump off a cliff than admit it, but even then.

Nods. Wait, are you clothed.]

[He's wearing some black pants. But he didn't bother getting dressed any further than that.

Stands up before offering a hand to help her up as well.]

[She glances at a certain direction first, looking thoughtful, before taking his hand to pull herself up.]

[Enjoy that warmth while you can, Namine. Come midnight, he'll be a vampire again. This place wont let him stay human for any longer than necessary.

Holds the door open for her.]

[Like I said, she doesn't mind staying around him these days, because she understands him better now.

She doesn't wanna be alone right now.]

[Well he'll walk back inside.]

[It's not a bad room. He managed to find one with an older feel to it, and it's a little darker than most, but there's decent lighting so that shouldn't bother her. He's got a pretty big bed considering he doesn't move when asleep, and there's a large book cupboard against the back wall that's almost overflowing with books. But hey, he couldn't find a bigger one. There's a fancy looking stereo next to the bed, and a desk with even more books stacked on it. He'll head over there and sit down.]

[brb inspecting the books.]

[They seem to be all from different times. And she might be a little surprised to see Axel's name on a few of them. Did she know that he wrote books?]

[Huh. Taking those now.]

[They're all about vampires. Almost everything she could want to know about them. And some things she wouldn't.]

I didn't know Axel could write.

[Leafing through it.]

He's documenting everything he can about our kind. He's been trying to learn everything he could about us ever since he was turned.

Some of those can get a bit graphic by the way. He doesn't hold back with the truth you know...
