[As usual, this year's party is held at the ball room. Dance music is already playing, mixed in together with creepy sounds and howls. The decorations are creepy at its best, and there are skeletal waiters walking around this time.

The tables are laden with food for various monsters, ghost, blood for the vampires, candy for the children, and normal food for those who are somewhat normal. Though if you're not in costume, that ugly fish sculpture at the giant punch bowl will spew a liquid at you rudely from it's mouth that will immediately put you into a random costume. If you keep hitting it, it will keep doing it, changing your costume into something worse every time.

Gatecrashers with bad intentions will be grabbed, wrapped and tossed out of the room by that giant spider up there on the ceiling, and it will also grab you if you're being selfish to the kiddies about giving them candy.

For those who lack dancing partners, some of those manakins are not there for show. Those will come to life and ~~harass~~ dance with you if you look a little lonely.

[He mostly just goes into great detail about how much greater the experience is as a vampire than as a human. What with the enhanced strength and speed and not getting tired as easily. But there's also information of the habits of other vampires he's met. Some of them like blood involved. Some of them do it outside closer to morning for the added thrill of danger. And some of them are quite normal about it. It varies quite a bit.

It also mentions the instincts that come with it. For example, did Namine know that arousal is another thing that can cause a Vampire to lose control of themselves? Not in a thirsty way though. In fact, according to this book it's quite a difficult one to control.]

[.. reminder to herself. If the arousal spell hits again, stay as far away as possible.]

[He'd likely lock himself away somewhere anyway. He's actually quite chaste.

Did she keep reading? Cause there's more! Hey, Roxas did warn her that Axel doesn't hold back with his writing.]

[Apparently sex is almost completely controlled by instinct for Vampires. No matter how good control they have of themselves, at one point or another during the experience they will lose it. It's unavoidable. It also means that there will always be some biting at the end. Instinct again. It's marking territory. Claiming the partner as theirs so no other vampire will take or harm them without knowing that there will be some serious revenge.

Oh look, there's even some records of vampire/human relationships!...That lasted, one night. Injuries are common with those. Some vampires make a habit out of it, taking what they wanted from the human then feeding from them afterwards.

Particularly this part. Vampires are incapable of having children. So those who want a family find a couple with the traits they want passed on to the child, either wait for or force them to conceive the child, then kill the parents once it's born so they can take and raise the baby themselves. Once it's the age they want it to stay at, they turn it.

At least most of them are kind to the children though. I know a, 'family', that takes extra precautions to ensure loyalty.

That one's pretty interesting. In one chapter Axel wrote about a mummified vampire he found locked in a tomb that was still alive. Once he stopped draining every human he could find dry he was apparently a pretty interesting guy.

[Said so casually. That also shows that vampires cant die of starvation.]

[Because they dont have a choice? They'll lose control if they dont feed.

Also if they dont feed they dehydrate to the point that they look like a mummy. :| Also that's not a pleasant experience by the way.]

[He doesn't mind at all. Though if Axel were here he'd likely make some comment about Namine being the first girl to touch Roxas' bed in over five hundred years.]

[Because Roxas is a virgin and Axel makes fun of him for it.

In reality Axel thinks that Roxas would relax more and emo less if he got some now and then.]

[But him getting some means it would be bad for other people.]

[As if Axel would care. Sheesh.

Besides, he could also accept the advances of that female vampire that's been showing interest in him for the past thirty or so years. But nooooo. Roxas was born in a time where chastity meant something and he never grew out of it.]
