[Oh hey. It looks like Ven's finally come out of hiding. He'd have stayed hidden longer, but he really needs food. His stomach is getting rather painful by now.
Looks like he hasn't been sleeping either, by the looks of the dark circles under his eyes. Said eyes also look a little red and puffy, as if he's been crying recently. He even seems a little thinner. He definitely hasn't been taking care of himself.]

You need to draw the same mark I have somewhere on your person. I recommend a place you can cover, and...

[He pauses to fish a small bottle out of his pocket, holding it out for Ven to inspect. It's full of a red gel that shimmers a little in the light]

I find this lasts longest. You would need to redraw the glyph roughly once a month. It may burn at first, but it isn't unbearable.

He takes the bottle carefully, looking at it.]

So, may I borrow these this time?

[He doesn't know where he could find his own bottle of this stuff right away, but having a month to look would help. And he can re-copy his own glyph onto a piece of paper later so he doesn't forget.]

It burns slightly, but I have always used my hands. Other implements should work just as well.

Vanitas is giving him a bit of a headache by now with his protests, but he doesn't care. Determined look get. He's gonna shut you up for good this time, Van.]

[Keir hands the bottle back, taking the paper so he can hold it up for Ven to glance at as he needs. He knows what drawing that symbol from odd angles is like]

[For his part, Keir watches and waits. If he sees any problems he'll speak up, but otherwise he'll let Ven concentrate. The design's not too elaborate, but he knows the details matter]

[For once in his life, Ven is really taking his time. He can guess that the details are important and he's stopping himself from rushing through it in his excitement to stop Vanitas.

After a while though, and a few near mistakes thankyou Keir for telling him before he messed up, he's finished.

That looks right. It should be quieter now.

Yeah it is. I cant even feel his powers anymore.
