[Let it never be said that Sora doesn't know what's going on with his family, and especially his Ri. He may not see the blood, but being of pure Light he feels the Darkness more acutely than anyone ever could. Not only that, but the baby responds to it as well which explains why Sora's keeping his distance from Ri for the moment (at least until he's under some semblance of control). After losing Kira (temporarily) this time last year, Sora's staying incredibly attuned to his body and keeping himself safe. He may be a rawr super bad-ass warrior and stuff, but he'd take the pain himself before putting anyone else in danger.

It doesn't get too much safer than the nursery, the new room in the small complex of rooms for this big family which has been freshly painted a dusky lavender color, and is seated in the cushy chair with his legs tucked under him. He's trying to work himself up to putting together the crib that's still in pieces, but the first mistake was sitting down and he can't help zoning out and staring at the single framed picture on the wall over the chest of drawers -- a black and white transparent ultrasound. ... you two already have fingernails, and I still need to put your bed together. Slow down, will ya?

There is, but if you want to there are other kids of milk to drink, like soy milk! That's very healthy, too! There's even chocolate soy milk.

I think all the cow babies will be fine. Cows and humans make plenty of milk for their babies, and then some. But I think it's really sweet that you thought about that. You're very thoughtful.

[it's entirely possible- Sora has finally started to realize that hey, sleeping when one is feeling sleepy is actually pretty nice! he doesn't resist going to bed much anymore.]

*he has an armful now, and holds Sorabug+whale+blanket so they don't rest on his tummy as he carries them to the bedroom -- he's glad Sorabug came quietly, since he feels protective towards all of his kids lately, and likes them to be near; he's getting him settled and cozy again, lying down himself*
