[there is a very frazzled-looking older Kai passed out in a chair in this room, looking very much like he'd simply collapsed in it and proceeded to fall asleep. he's in comfortable clothing, with an apron thrown over it all, and probably smells like a kitchen that's seen a whole lot of use recently. with his Axel pregnant, he's been doing a lot of cooking, and even more worrying. he's been getting some sleep, but everything's starting to catch up with him.]

[was napping, but has come to see where her husbandu is-- oh. poor Kaibb. :C creeps past him to the kitchen to fix something to eat, then. she can do it, she just prefers Kai's cooking~. comes back after a short while with the remains of a sandwich she's already consumed most of, and a big mug of hot chocolate- ninSora's recipe. sets the mug on a nearby end table and finishes off the sammich before leaning over the back of the chair to wrap her arms around Kai's neck, nuzzling his shoulder gently.]

*How could he pass you up? He was on his way to bring you and Axel some spaghetti that he and little!bug made together so that you wouldn't have to cook tonight. D'aww, he'll be finding a cozy looking blanket and being a bit fussy for a moment.*

[groans and grumbles, shifting a bit; that's enough to wake him at least partly, so don't mind him mumbling nonsensically for a moment. he doesn't want to open his eyes.]

[that is much appreciated, and he might start snoring a bit once that blanket is in place. he's been going non-stop for a while now.]

*He can definitely understand that. He'll get the blankets all tucked around you and cozy, and watch you for just a minute to make sure you're dreaming peacefully.*

*Awww, well you were about to have a napping buddy, as Sora's curled up on the couch across from you and dozing lightly. It would seem you aren't the only one who's exhausted.*

[aw, Sora, you are such a good friend ♥ but yes, after probably a half hour or so of naptime, he's waking up again.]

[reaches over and grabs the mug, holding it in front of him so he can take it, so she can get back to that shoulder rubbing. :> ]

[Oh, Kai. Riku's not surprised to find him like this. It's almost symbolic of everything going on lately. It makes her feel old. But despite that, she's a little amused. So is one of her two companions. It's not Aden - he's with his father - and it can't be Akane, because she's too young to understand. So it must be...]

I'm not neglecting myself, promise. Half the time I just can't sleep because I'm thinking about all this.

[ohhhh thank you bb. he'll take that mug and sip it slowly, relaxing even more.]

[it's not much of a show, ladies; though he is starting to snore a bit.]

[Kairi starts giggling at that, but Riku waves her off. She whispers something to her for Kai's sake, but it gets Akane babbling a little loudly.]

*He's sort of like a cat. He's moved away from dozing in that time frame, and is now asleep, still curled up.*

[nooooo babby why you do that. his brow furrows at the noise and he shifts, frowning.]

[well, it'll take him a little while to notice Sora there as he wonders where the blanket on him came from, but then he'll smile softly and shake his head, standing to move the blanket onto Sora now that he's got no use for it.]

[Because babies don't have volume control. Riku gives Kairi a little push to get her going, and then makes her way inside to check on Kai.]

It would be amusing if Sora really made that face while sleeping.

[Aqua yawns a little bit as she ponders. Maybe having a nap buddy wouldn't be so bad since Terra says he's too old for naps now. So she's crawling up on the couch and falling asleep there; she'd crawl into his lap but she doesn't know him.]

[rubrub~ kisses the top of his head and uses some heat with that rubbing.]

Stop worrying so much. Everything will be fine. I'm perfectly healthy, and from what I can tell, the baby's doing just fine too.
