[there is a very frazzled-looking older Kai passed out in a chair in this room, looking very much like he'd simply collapsed in it and proceeded to fall asleep. he's in comfortable clothing, with an apron thrown over it all, and probably smells like a kitchen that's seen a whole lot of use recently. with his Axel pregnant, he's been doing a lot of cooking, and even more worrying. he's been getting some sleep, but everything's starting to catch up with him.]

*He can definitely understand that. He'll get the blankets all tucked around you and cozy, and watch you for just a minute to make sure you're dreaming peacefully.*

*Awww, well you were about to have a napping buddy, as Sora's curled up on the couch across from you and dozing lightly. It would seem you aren't the only one who's exhausted.*

[aw, Sora, you are such a good friend ♥ but yes, after probably a half hour or so of naptime, he's waking up again.]

*He's sort of like a cat. He's moved away from dozing in that time frame, and is now asleep, still curled up.*

[well, it'll take him a little while to notice Sora there as he wonders where the blanket on him came from, but then he'll smile softly and shake his head, standing to move the blanket onto Sora now that he's got no use for it.]

It would be amusing if Sora really made that face while sleeping.

*He'll blink owlishly at the blanket, and smile sleepily at you, stretching and purring unconsciously, his voice heavy with sleep.*

It would be VERY amusing. I'm sure he'd be teased about it.

[he returns the smile, looking a bit sleepy still himself.]

*What did he come here for again? Oh!*

Sorabug and I made some spaghetti, and I wanted to bring you and Axel some to heat up for dinner so you could just relax.

*He sits up from his spot on the couch, and sort of wraps his arms around his waist with a little sleepy smile.*

[oh man, he is quite relieved to know he's getting a break.]

[he'll just go relax back in his chair, sighing tiredly. he wants to ask how Sora's managed all this- and he's not even the one carrying, like Sora did or like Axel's doing.]

*He glances at you, a little amused smile on his lips as he draws his legs up.*

Just wait 'til Axel starts requesting whole watermelons or cheeseburgers nonstop. Or dirt or a pack of crayons or something weird like that.

*Oh, and you mean like Sora currently is, though you wouldn't know that because he hasn't told anyone.*

It won't last much longer, at least. His pregnancy's sped up like crazy because of Hachibi. That's why I've been so busy.

Well, just try and take time and enjoy it. It's a tumultuous time, but you'll have good memories of all the time spent together. Eating crayons and spaghetti. Any idea on the baby's sex? I'll make them a blanket, like I made for Aden.

*Rikka and Kira are going to have so many cousins X3. And... Sora's not feeling very proud of being so bunny-like right now, mostly because he's afraid of what the daddy will say. Of course, it's probably hormones.*

[he shakes his head; and he doesn't really think the daddy will have anything bad to say.]

No idea. If Hachibi knows, he's been keeping it a secret from us.

*Nods slightly, and might be choking down a slightly barfy feeling for a moment, quiet. Ah, better.*

Well, I guess it'll be a surprise then. When do you expect you'll meet the baby?

*Wow, that was gay Sora. Wait, is it gay if he has tits? IDK. Either way, he's very excited about this, since all of his are born in the fall. Is there a holiday that tends to get him all hot and bothered or something? Also, he is sure you will be a great Daddy.*

*He comes back in about ten minutes, which is a little long for a trip to the kitchen. He's fetched you a tasty orange soda, and has poured himself a glass of ice water to cool himself down.*
