[Sora has many different items on his list of things to do today, now that he's spent the past few days busy with all sorts of distractions. the first thing on his list has already been accomplished: there's a pile of envelopes addressed to several different people on the kitchen table where he's now sitting.]

[now for item number two: making spaghetti! Sora's not allowed to touch the stove, so he's having to improvise a little. he's dumped a box of uncooked pasta into a bowl, and is squishing a tomato in his hands directly over the spaghetti. not exactly how Daddy makes it, but close enough!]

It's spaghetti! I gotta put it in the oven, though.

[Sora squishes the tomato some more, until it is officially a pulpy glob in his hands. he drops it on into the bowl.]

[Ven giggles a bit then looks at the mess then back to Sora.]

Can I help? Maybe we can make it how the adults do, but none of us kids can use the stove and the adults don't want us using it.

[Looks at the bowl and tilts his head.]

I think it's missing something...

[Sora blinks and peers into the bowl, scrutinizing his creation.]

Really? What? It sorta looks like spaghetti to me.

Okay! Go get the cheese an' we'll put it on top!

[She nods and goes to grab the cheesem bringing it back over.]

[and Sora just takes that block'o'cheese with a smile, dumping the whole thing into the bowl because who needs a cheese grater? it makes an odd crunching/splut sound as it hits the tomato and crushes the uncooked spaghetti.]
