[in a hallway just off the main area, Kai seems to have fallen. one hand is against the wall, nails almost digging into it. his other hand is pressed against his forehead, and he's curled over himself on his knees. his face isn't very visible, but he looks pained and like he's concentrating on something, eyes squeezed shut and teeth gritted.]

(ooc: Meditation didn't settle completely, he's trying to sort his memories. Go ahead and startle him, and prepare for massive amounts of confusion. 8D)

[Half-smiles, and shrugs.]

I guess so. It'll be a nice break from the ship, at least...

[well she's right, but it doesn't feel like that to him, even though the body is slightly unfamiliar.]

[Riku is going to hug him if he ever comes out again. But for now she smiles, shaking her head.]

Yeah. I just don't know what to do about this.

Things will go back to normal eventually.

[sounds more optimistic than he actually is about this.]

I know. I guess we should figure out what to do in the meantime.

[nods. he's really not sure what to do, so hopefully Riku has a suggestion or two.]

[You'd think so... Give her a sec, she's thinking.]

[that's okay, he'll just amuse himself with his paintbrush and wish he had his necklace. he wants to show Riku the awesome stuff Ammy's been teaching him. :C]

[Rests her chin in her palm, frowning slightly... Then just gets up and walks over to the fridge.]

Do you want something to drink?

Oh... sure. What is there?

[watches her curiously.]

Almost everything if you look hard enough.

[Snags a bottle of some kind of juice, and opens the fridge up so he can look inside if he wants.]

[gets up and goes to look for himself! c:]

[Sort of half-leans against the doorway, watching him.]

[hm hm~. finally pulls a bottle of strawberry-kiwi juice out of the fridge, cracking it open and taking a sip- and promptly gagging and coughing, turning his head away from the fridge and covering his mouth with his free hand. lol strawberries trigger Kai's gag reflex even when he's not "there".]

[She very nearly drops her own drink she's so startled.]

Kai?

[finishes coughing, gingerly putting the bottle down on the counter.]

What the heck?
