[in a hallway just off the main area, Kai seems to have fallen. one hand is against the wall, nails almost digging into it. his other hand is pressed against his forehead, and he's curled over himself on his knees. his face isn't very visible, but he looks pained and like he's concentrating on something, eyes squeezed shut and teeth gritted.]

(ooc: Meditation didn't settle completely, he's trying to sort his memories. Go ahead and startle him, and prepare for massive amounts of confusion. 8D)

I know. I guess we should figure out what to do in the meantime.

[nods. he's really not sure what to do, so hopefully Riku has a suggestion or two.]

[You'd think so... Give her a sec, she's thinking.]

[that's okay, he'll just amuse himself with his paintbrush and wish he had his necklace. he wants to show Riku the awesome stuff Ammy's been teaching him. :C]

[Rests her chin in her palm, frowning slightly... Then just gets up and walks over to the fridge.]

Do you want something to drink?

Oh... sure. What is there?

[watches her curiously.]

Almost everything if you look hard enough.

[Snags a bottle of some kind of juice, and opens the fridge up so he can look inside if he wants.]

[gets up and goes to look for himself! c:]

[Sort of half-leans against the doorway, watching him.]

[hm hm~. finally pulls a bottle of strawberry-kiwi juice out of the fridge, cracking it open and taking a sip- and promptly gagging and coughing, turning his head away from the fridge and covering his mouth with his free hand. lol strawberries trigger Kai's gag reflex even when he's not "there".]

[She very nearly drops her own drink she's so startled.]

Kai?

[finishes coughing, gingerly putting the bottle down on the counter.]

What the heck?

What is it?

[So confused, looking between him and the bottle.]

I-I don't know, it triggered a gag reflex...

[feels along his throat carefully, frowning and looking at the bottle.]

No reason?

[Sets her drink down, picking up his to look it over.]

The taste, I think. It's weird, strawberries are one of my favourite foods...

[Riku probably knows this is not the case anymore.]

[Frowns slightly and takes a small sip to test it, just in case, and promptly tosses it in the sink.]

Your tastes changed. Get something else.

[frowns, but nods and goes to get some generic cola thing instead.]

Never thought that would happen with strawberries...

[Doesn't say anything to that, just shrugs and sips her juice.]

[oh well, cola's good too.]

[Indeed it is. Now, back to thinking over what she can do for this situation.]

[short of somehow waking Nami up, there's not a whole lot she can do.]

[Yeeeah, and she'd have no idea how to do that. But if she can't fix it, she should probably think of what to do with him while he's like this.]

[;D well... he wouldn't mind a tour, to start with.]

[~~...what. What is that even.~~ This is true. Though she doesn't see why he'd need it, since she doesn't think he should be going off by himself right now.]
