[ First there's a burst of blue sparks in the hallways, a gentle glimmer, and then something is growing across quite a few doorways in the dressing room. Rather, something is growing back. Small sprigs of green plants with white berries, tied together with a royal blue ribbon.

And somewhere else, there is a fairy all dressed in blue, happily nibbling on cookies. ]

[gently pulls Riku closer, carefully not looking at his collar before pulling him in for a short, gentle kiss that he's hoping is enough to free them.]

[his eyes automatically closed, so he missed it when the charm on his collar suddenly filled with color, now looking like a tiny version of the real thing]

That... wasn't so bad.

[and time to see if they can escape- but he stops short at the sight of the collar and makes a noise in his throat.]

[he doesn't move either, other than to look down, trying to see]

I can't see it. What happened?

[reaches out carefully to run a finger over the charm.]

It looks like the real ones now.

[shivers involuntarily]

[drops his hand and shakes his head.]

I have no idea.

Maybe it's not a bad thing.

Guess we can only hope it isn't.

[glances upward]

Do you think it's alright to move now?

It should be.

[waiting too long and having it reactivate never occurred to him.]

[attempts to move away; does it work?]

[yyyyyes, sure, why not. relieved sigh get.]

[steps away from the doorway!]

[does also, glancing up at the mistletoe and feeling vaguely paranoid now]

I was going to do some laundry, and was actually going to find you to see if there was anything you wanted done too.

[shakes his head.]

Not anything I can think of off the top of my head.

Of course. It wasn't just my doing, anyway.

[that almost gets a smile out of him before he disappears to do that laundry, walking just a little straighter than he had before.]

[brb making excessive noise by trying to come through the mistletoe'd doorway behind Kai, and slamming straight into the invisible barrier.]
