[ First there's a burst of blue sparks in the hallways, a gentle glimmer, and then something is growing across quite a few doorways in the dressing room. Rather, something is growing back. Small sprigs of green plants with white berries, tied together with a royal blue ribbon.

And somewhere else, there is a fairy all dressed in blue, happily nibbling on cookies. ]

[he's relaxing more and more around Axel after watching them, though someone familiar like Kai being there has a lot to do with it. if it were Axel by himself he'd be more likely to think he were just trying to get Riku to let his guard down.]

Axel, would you... ah, have anything you wanted me to add to the laundry I plan to do? I don't mind...

[he's really happy that Riku's relaxing around Axel, though he's not sure what to say about that offer. it's nice, of course, but hmmmm. he'll just stay out of it and wait for Axel's response.]

[looks surprised for a half a second, then smiles easily.]

Nah, it's fine. Wouldn't do to break up the routine of waiting to do it until we've got one pair of pants left between the two of us, right?

[links hands with Kai, swinging them a bit.]

[stares a bit]

Please tell me when that time is getting close, then. I don't really want to find out who doesn't get to wear that one pair of pants.

[pats Riku's arm with his free hand.]

Don't worry, he has to wear a skirt when that happens.

Or nothing, but I don't leave our room like that, at least.

...Right. I should probably get going.

[he's suddenly glad he doesn't know how to dismantle the traps to their room]

Sorry, Riku, he's got absolutely no tact. Do you want me to stay in the area in case you get stuck under more mistletoe?

[nurses his arm, ow. ;o;]

I didn't learn that stuff when I was little, cut me some slack.

[He still looks like he's feeling somewhat awkward, but he does answer honestly.]

It's your right if you'd like to, and I'd rather have you get me out than someone I don't know, Kai.

I know, Axel. And maybe we should find some sort of walkie-talkies while the mistletoe is up so you can just call when you're stuck, Riku.

[smiles faintly.]

I'm alright staying in the area.
