[ First there's a burst of blue sparks in the hallways, a gentle glimmer, and then something is growing across quite a few doorways in the dressing room. Rather, something is growing back. Small sprigs of green plants with white berries, tied together with a royal blue ribbon.

And somewhere else, there is a fairy all dressed in blue, happily nibbling on cookies. ]

Oh, is this the Riku you told me about?

[--brb tilting head back, nose seems to be bleeding from impact.]

[darts a glance from Axel to Kai, then back to Axel again, clearly not wanting to take his eyes off him for long in case he tries something]

Mast- Kai, he knows you?

Yeah.

[that was to both of them, really. smiles reassuringly at Riku when he looks over.]

This is my boyfriend. You don't have to worry about him, okay? He won't ever do anything to you, and if he ever triggers something, it's entirely by accident.

[briefly flares his chakra, healing his nose enough so that it'll stop bleeding, and tilts his head back down, shaking it a little. smiles lopsidedly at Riku.]

Nice to meet you, finally. I'd shake hands, but... [has blood on his handshake hand. :< ]

It's alright...

[he's looking less panicky knowing who this is, but that doesn't stop him from subconsciously trying to take a step back again when Axel smiles at him]

You wanted to meet me?

Ah, do you guys want me to get you out?

[knows they're talking, but they can do it when they're not under mistletoe, too.]

[tones down his body language significantly, and nods.]

Yeah, I did. Any friend of Kai's is a friend of mine. [ :D ] And yes please, Kai. I could use a cure for my nose, too. [ ;o; ]

Y-yes please. I'm sorry I got us stuck.

[he's feeling a little ashamed that he can't handle the thought of someone as familiar-looking as Axel kissing him, and uncomfortable with how Axel might react to his boyfriend having to get them both out of this]

[waves a hand dismissively as he casts a Cure on Axel, smiling and stepping into the mistletoe's hold.]

If you're going to blame anyone, it should be whoever put the mistletoe up in the first place, Riku. Who's first?

Oh oh pick me! Riku probably doesn't want a strange Axel kissing him anyway.

He can go first.

[someone just turned a little pink at the ears at Axel's words, and he's averting his eyes]

[snorts and smooches Axel, then shoves him out of the mistletoe's reach.]

[goes, grinning, and stands out of its range to wait.]

I only barely remember that stuff from last year, since it was still around right when I showed up. Totally forgot about it until just now.

[it's somehow easier that this is the second time he's been caught under mistletoe with Kai around. hearing their banter is helping him to relax a little, glancing back toward them both and closing his eyes, holding perfectly still to accept the kiss he knows is coming]

I would've been quite happy if it hadn't popped up this year.

[and Riku gets a short smooch before he takes his hand to lead him out as well.]

There.

I bet most people would. I just hope no one's getting hurt by getting stuck under that stuff with someone like that jackass Larxene, or... any Saix, really.

[sticks his hands in his pockets, completely calm and casual.]

[lets Kai tug him away, stealing glances at Axel]

If I were stronger, I could open portals to avoid them.

You'll get stronger.

[pats his arm and lets go of him once they're out.]

I don't think portals worked for everyone last year.

[is needy like a needy thing, pulling at Kai's sleeve.]

Can you tell if my nose is broken? It still hurts. I feel like I walked into a window.

How do you know what-

... [shushes, not wanting to make Axel mad if he actually did break his nose walking into a window before.]

Hold still, then.

[reaches up to carefully feel at his nose, sending more healing magic along as he does.]

[whines like a girl. ;o; ]

[watching the two of you has him a little bewildered, and he's quickly discovering that Kai's Axel is nothing like the manipulative asshole from his own world.

once Kai's done with the healing thing, Riku will be quietly offering Axel a pack of travel-sized tissues.]

Nothing's broken, don't worry.

[finishes, and aw Riku you're so nice. C:]

[is mildly surprised, but takes the tissues, because he DOES have blood on his hand and part of his face. extracts a few and wipes his face off.]

Thanks, Riku. And that's good, I've managed to avoid any facial disfiguring so far, and I'd like to keep it that way. Leave that sort of thing to the Xigbars, thanks.
