[Namine was just hiding out in the library, curled up in a chair in a more hidden area, reading a book, when the rooms suddenly filled with smoke.

She drops the book into her lap as she's reduced to coughing into her hand.]

I've tried to read some psychology books on surviving sexual abuse but I don't think they can really apply to this situation. There's a few helpful tips in them, though.
