To make you look intimidating when it billows, as for an ass cape...I have NO idea. I don't get many hula skirt jokes. I'd expect us to get more BONDAGE jokes honestly.

They can be distracting. They can snag, they could get caught on something....totally disadvantageous. Which makes me wonder why my Wielder never thought of using it against those Keyblade brats.

Maybe that was the point. So you could rip it off and try to choke them with it as a last resort.
