Fuck!

[well, if anyone was near the kitchen in the right corridor they could probably hear glass plates breaking. That's all thanks to Sora, a little emotional wreck that was fuming at the moment.
Sometimes he just has to clean to calm down, he never enjoyed being angry so he went to take care of some dishes. But of course, he's sidetracked by too many thoughts and cursing under his breath as he started picking up the shattered glass that was scattered all over the tile floor.
Rubbing at his watery eyes for a moment before continuing]

I deserve this, this is probably j-just karma....

[why yes, he is talking to himself. Everybody does, right?

[rubbing his eyes now, since those damn tears were blurring his vision again.]

[bites his lip for a moment.]

I know we just met, but d'you want a hug? You kinda look like you need one.

[looking down at the ground for a moment before he nodded his head.]

It's a good thing I'm an experienced hug giver.

[trying to lighten the mood a little. moves closer, opening his arms for Sora.]

[Stifles a little laugh from that, rubbing his eyes before he took the offered hug. Breathing in deeply before letting it all out as he calmed down a bit.]

[hugs him gently.]

Things'll work out, so long as you try.

[comfort is definitely good for the soul.]

Definitely! There's always hope. Don't let yourself get too down; keep your chin up and don't dwell on past mistakes. Work to fix them.

[squeezes him lightly before letting go.]

[smiles, nodding his head. This guy was ride, he almost lost sight of hope from almost giving up.]

[he thanks you for the boost of confidence.]

[grins, stepping back.]

I'm glad I could help. Don't think I introduced myself though, right? Bad habit I'm getting into.

[holds out a hand.]

I'm Kai.

[blinks, staring at the outstretched hand.]

Kai, nice to meet you.
I'm Sora, though you probably already know that.
There's just so many of us.

[nods, shaking the other's hand.]

You're actually the first person to actually introduce themselves to me.

[laughs.]

[laughs as well.]

I know what you mean. But since I'm a little different than the 'norm', I have to introduce myself. I'm a male version of Kairi.

[nodnod.]

[that name seemed very familiar, but nothing was coming up. So he just shook his head.]

I've never met a girl named Kairi before.

Really? That's weird... ah well. In any case, there's a lot of Kairis around, but I've yet to meet another Kai.

So you're pretty special then.

[smiles, nodding his head. Walking over to the fridge, feeling hungry after an emotional breakdown.]

You want anything?

[peers over from the fridge door.]

[l-laughs.]

I'm not anything special.

[watches him for a moment.]

Uh... maybe? What's in there?

That's what they all say.

[smiles, rummaging through the fridge.]

Umm...Some sort of casserole, fruit, sandwich meat-I know where the bread is so I can make you a sandwich, aaand oh cake.

...cake?

[hasn't had anything sweet in a while.]

Good choice.

[good, because Sora hasn't eaten anything sweet in over five years. Pulling out the chocolate cake with pink icing, hopefully whoever made it wouldn't be peeved that they stole a slice or two.]

God, I miss sugar.

[sets the cake down on the island counter before he went to the cupboard to bring out some plates he made sure not to drop this time. Right, silverware. Brings over two knifes and a fork.]

How big do you want your slice to be?

Haven't had sugar in a while?

[heads closer to the counter, looking at the cake thoughtfully.]

How about we just split it in half?

[actually manages to say this with a straight face, though he's joking for the most part.]

[blinks. That was an understatement.]

Let's just say I haven't had sugar in a very long time.

[well his fast metabolism and growling stomach was thinking Kai was serious, so that knife split the cake in half. Bringing his half of the cake that was about the size of his face on to the plate.]

Alright.

[excuse him while he stuffs his face now.]

That bites. How come?

[hides his amusement as he watches Sora before turning his attention to his own 'piece' and cutting off a smaller piece, picking it up with his hand. this is going to be messy, but he doesn't care~. starts eating the piece, lips twitching as he tries to control the grin that wants to spread across his face.]

Hm?

[Licks the icing off of his upper lip, chewing on the fork in his mouth for a second.]

The person I lived with didn't think it was necessary to have it around the house, so I never got to have any.

[Copies the redhead, feeling so weird for picking up the food in his hands. It was kind of engulfing his hand since his slice was so big, but he quickly tried to eat more of it to keep that from happening.]

That's crazy.

[finishes off the little piece, cutting another off of his slice and picking it up.]

So they were one of those health food nuts? ....er. No offense or anything.

Erm...N-Not really.
He didn't even think eating food was necessary.

[It was true, Riku was either drugged up or drunk to care about food or sleep. So Sora always took money from Riku's wallet to get food, he just never had any to spare for the sweets he always enjoyed when he was little.]
