I have only met one Aqua here, dearest River. All she told me about herself was that she is "truly lost." I do not pretend to understand her words in their entirety, but it would appear she is the one who lost her heart to the darkness.

She said she was 'still dreaming' when I asked her if she was okay.

Cael, Ven's keyblade, doesn't remember anything, and I don't remember what happened before I came here.
Maybe...what happened to her is what we don't remember.

Perhaps you were the Keyblade from her time line, and merely followed her here. You would have been without a wielder, without anyone to speak to, almost in a sort of stasis, I presume.
