Alright Marluxia, come on out!

[Stomping through the halls was a ticked off Demyx, yelling out for Marluxia to show himself. He was already shaking with rage that he was holding back, if he was actually mad then he was known to pull off some pretty crazy things.]

[Light green eyes were searching, scanning every face he passed while he trudged onward. Oh and don't mind the blood smeared on him, it's not his.]

Why are you protecting the beast like he deserves it~? Friend or foe, he's done much more damage to those poor boys with my eyes.

[Turning around quickly to glare daggers at the creature.]

[Oh and he sees you now, green eyes narrowing as the Death God came in to view. Shaking furiously, Demyx used what strength he had left from giving up his energy to grab on to the front of Marluxia's cloak to pull on it roughly.]

[He wanted answers before he started throwing punches, like why the fight started in the first place.]

[Oh, this guy had to be playing dumb. Which only fuel Demyx's anger. His hands did not let go, they only pushed on that chest to bring the Death God's back to collide with the wall.]

[Gritting his teeth, Demyx tried to control the volume of his voice.]

Why the hell did you guys start fighting anyway?

He ripped out Axel's insides!!

[And then he let go, stepping back an inch to stare up with confused green eyes.]

[His mind was hazy, thanks to having barely any energy himself and fuming with anger and now added confusion from what Saïx supposedly did.]

He's a demon, he was upset. Axel didn't improve his situation much.

[Don' thank him, he doesn't deserve it. Crouching down, the dirty blonde buried his head in his knees to try and calm down. To just think.]

Oh God...But what did Axel do and why would he come after you?
Because you tried to stop him?

[Just breathe Dem, just breathe.]

Axel... stopped him from killing Roxas, so Saïx saw him as an enemy. Roxas showed up to protect Axel, and Saïx attacked both.

If I hadn't interfered, only Roxas would have escaped. That was Axel's fate. But I did, both escaped, and Saïx was obviously not happy.

[Flinch.]

...I-I didn't know.

[He seemed to be shrinking from the guilt that swelled inside of him. Because if he hadn't asked, he probably would've ended up lashing out.]

I'm....I'm sorry.

I forgive you.

[Rubbing his face on his sleeve, he so wasn't crying. He lifted his head wearing a weak, apologetic smile.]

[Got he still felt like an ass though plus he was tired as hell. Sitting down on the floor, resting his chin on top of his knees to stare up at the Death God.]

We're still friends....Right?

We're not friends. We never were.

[Sighing, he pursed his lips to stare at the wall.]

[Lifting his head up, he blew a few loose strands of hair from his face.]

I thought we were having fun and stuff.

No, I think the question is: What is a friend?

Well a friend is someone you have fun with, can trust, and makes you happy.

[Smiles.]

[Corks an eyebrow, hoping to take a different approach. He'd draw a picture if he had to...]

[Erk! Wrong, wrong, wrong way of trying to make Pinky understand the meaning of 'friends'. Friends usually don't try to go at each others throats...]

O-Ok. Well, umm.

When two people know each other really well and smile, laugh, have a good 'ol time with that person. They become friends.

[Rubs the back of his neck, hoping this time the message got through.]

This is going to be a lot harder than I thought...

Alright. So here's the deal.

[He drew two amazingly awesome stick figures on the board, named Bob and Jack.]

Ok, so Bob and Jack have been talking to each other for a couple of minutes in the ice cream store and found out they both love the same kind of ice cream, chocolate.

[Doodles an ice cream cone.]

So they decide to walk around outside and Jack laughs at one of Bob's jokes.

[Scribbles 'Ha ha'.]

From then on they become friends and hang out with each other a lot. The End.

Why do they become friends?

[Yells, grabbing his head before he was resting his head on the cool floor in defeat.]

They enjoy eachother's company, they have fun just talking and seeing each other!

What do you mean why?

It's nice to have someone to talk to and have a fun time with. Kind of like when you and me had the cake fight, I had a blast and was laughing most of the time.

That was a waste of cake; you were supposed to hand over your body and let me eat it.

Yeah, but I let you have some of the batter.

Batter isn't the same as cake, and no, I didn't.

[Well that's nice to here, thinking Marluxia was one of his closest friends in this god forsaken place and it turns out the Death God wasn't thinking of friendship at all. Try not to laugh as he tries to regain from the mental slap across his face.]

[Chewing on his lower lip, Demyx looked up to the sound of the other's voice.]

Hm?

[Maybe he was having too much false hope that the Death God would even consider a friendship period. But hey, it was worth a shot. And life was all about taking chances. Even if his 'friend' had said they weren't, he'd still act like one for the other.]

You still need a lot of help understanding what exactly a friend is, don't you?

Sometimes friend's have to do something the other wouldn't want to protect them.

[Pauses for a moment to think.]

-And even friends fight, but in the end they'll forgive each other if one of them apologizes.
You can always forgive them because they're your friend and you wouldn't be the same without them.

I don't... really understand but... that does help.

[Smiles, tilting his head out of curiosity. If only he could read peoples minds...]

Good, at least I did something to help through this whole thing.
