Honestly, I don't see why so many are interested in pairing me up with someone. Is it so wrong that I'm not in a relationship?

Besides, I don't see why love, and moreover, lust are such necessities here. I'd actually like to know why.

I suppose that would be the cheesy answers: comfort, belonging, lo-- adoration. Acceptance and trust. Sure you could go your whole life without lo-- caring about anyone, but you'd be lonely. Even in a room full of people, you can feel alone. It's better to have someone with you, to share things with you. Something beyond just being friends. I think that's what lo-- liking someone is supposed to do.

... dominance and control. Sex is one of the most vulnerable things a person can do, and it can be ridiculously easy to control someone using it. Drop a few lines about caring to feed someone's need for the good reasons, fuck them stupid, and you can have someone eating out of the palm of your hand.

...yes, that does seem to be common. That, and people can become addicted to such behavior, yes? And then there are...consequences that come with it as well.

I'm not saying it's the best thing to do, but there's a rush to know that you control someone. That you can say something and they jump to it, like some dog you kick but then feed it a treat when it comes crawling back and shows its belly.

I prefer the good reasons anyway. Once you have that kind of lo-- adoration, you really understand why it's one of the best things in the worlds.

Maybe you'll be lucky enough. Some people never find it, which is why they get used. It's a sick cycle sometimes.

From what I've observed, the most frequent personalities to be brought to the crossroads--Roxae, Axels, and the like--seem to have a fondness for the romantic, much unlike you and I.

I'm indifferent, honestly. However, what I don't agree with is the use of force...
