[leaning against a wall looking like he just came from a rock concert, eyes closed and music spilling from his half-on headphones.]

(OOC: Edym, the Heartless counterpart to Demyx.)

[passes by, pauses on one foot, turns and tilts head]

... [Eh, he's got his headphones on, I shouldn't bother him.]

[S'just another Demyx, there are a lot of them around lately...]

[eyes still closed, but he doesn't need to see to know who's there. There's a faint smirk.]

Can I help you?

[raises eyebrows, that surprised him.]

Oh. Uh.

Nah, just surprised to see another Demyx around. That's all, no biggie.

[Amused. He reaches up and lowers his headphones so they rest around his neck.]

Shouldn't you be used to that kind of thing by now?

[opens his eyes. They're a bright glowing yellow reminiscent of those of Shadow Heartless.]

Of course, I am, there've just been a lot of you... me... lately. If you hadn't noticed. I- ... [cuts off, mouth open, stares at his eyes.]

Ah...

...You're not a Demyx, are you.

Nope. Empty melodies don't really suit me.

[staring at his eyes]

So you're... a heartless?

[takes a step back] ...I gotta say, that's a new one.

[stalking closer.]

[nervous grin, takes another step backwards]

Yeah. For me, anyway...

[stops, chuckles.]

You've never thought about where your own Heartless might be?

[stare.]

[doesn't doubt it himself, really]

I don't. Told you already empty melodies don't really suit me.

[incredulous quirk of eyebrow]

What's that supposed to mean?

[there's a Shadow looking up at you curiously.]

[opens eyes and looks down at it.]

Huh. When did you guys start shrinking.

[tilts head confusedly. Not shrinking.]

[picks it up by the neck and looks at it.]

[struggles.]

Cute little thing.

[shrugs and tosses it aside, losing interest.]

[this Saïx is watching almost curiously; she can tell exactly what you are.]

[And so can he. Eyes still closed, but he begins singing quietly. His voice is laced with darkness and all of its seductive qualities.]

All non-believers stand aside in fear
A new day's marching through the door
How could you ever think you'd make it here?
Did it bleed? Was it sore?
Through the struggles you've endured.

[Her expression remains blank for the most of it, but there's a brief scowl toward the end of that verse.]

Now where did something like you come from?

[opens his eyes and smirks.]

Which can mean a grand number of things, but does not explain your presence.

[hostile? no, she just trusts Heartless of this level even less than she does Axels - and this is only the second one she's heard of.]

Not even if it's the door to darkness?
