Hey guys, look what I found in the toilet!

[holds up a bowl with a purpley blue betta fish]

[peers through the glass] So tell me. [looks up] Who's pooping fish? [smirks]

...And forgets to flush?

Aaanyway. Regardless of how he wound up there, I need to decide on a name for this guy. Any ideas?

First off, I didn't fish it out of the toilet. I stuck the bowl in there and scooped it in.

And I gave it fresh water.

[her smile is becoming decidedly nasty] Do you think so? Let me tell you something about toilet bowl water. It has chlorine in it. Not to mention it gets cleaned with bleach products. Your little friend has so many chemical burns he's lucky he still has fins.

[a pause]He will die. It's just a matter of when.

[ooc:My friend's beloved beta fish jumped its tank one day and landed in the sink. She thought it was dead by the time she found him, so she and her boyfriend dumped it into toilet, but the little guy perked up again and started swimming around. They rescued him from the toilet, but the poor little guy was just all burnt up from the chemicals--one of his fins was basically gone. ;-; It was really sad.]
