[he's sitting at a table somewhere, a cup of coffee nearby, his briefcase leaning against the table leg, and his laptop out. he's currently staring at the screen, which is filled with a mass of calculations and formulae, tapping his chin in thought.]
Hmmm. I suppose that as frustrating as it is being stuck here, it gives me time to perfect certain projects. I don't suppose anyone knows the components of this 'truth gas' that seems to have affected that majority of this place's occupants?

Ethanol, scopolamine, temazepam, sodium pentothal, or other barbiturates may be involved. Or it could be an extract of sorts from the essence of Light itself that invokes a truthful response in the darkness of hearts but I'm not so sure about that as I haven't researched the element of Light and quite frankly have no interest in such a worthless component of the natural world.
[Inhales deeply~ and replaces the hand over his mouth.]
....wow. can I have your scientific babies? :|
Of course... [and there's the rapid typing as he enters a few things into his computer] Now, what is this about Light? ....and why are you covering your mouth?
Too much Google, let me show you it.
Light, the inconvenient counterpart of the element of Darkness that composes anywhere between 25 and 75 percent of the average metaphysical heart. I generally consider it the weaker element but it can, in theory, serve to create artificial feelings or reactions often associated with Light- such as truthfulness.
And I've been covering my mouth as approximately twenty-four hours ago, I encountered the unidentified gas and ever since then... [Enter nervous glance over his shoulder.] ...have been saying things out loud that would get me hung, drawn and quartered back in the Garden.
[Bites his lip, slips the hand back up, and returns to watching Vexen's computer.]
I need to get buddy-buddy with google if I'm gonna be more scientific-like :x
The metaphysical heart... I've not heard anything on this subject.
Ah, you too had a run-in with this 'truth gas' then? That is rather unfortunate.
