[TIME FOR AN ENTIRELY TOO LONG MULTI-CHARACTER POST.

seasides is in the kitchen... what a boring guy. with things set up kind of how they used to be, and people once again relying on the kitchens, he's made his way to the main one to cook up some stuff to stash away in the fridge and freezer for others!

fading is not amused. he's trapped in a cage in a section of hallway made of white sand and marble. the cage isn't very big, which has him stuck sitting, and looking rather grumpy. there's no visible lock on it.

skybright is currently pushing herself in a training room, magic drained and looking half ready to collapse where she stands. there's a first aid kit sitting on a bench nearby, several bottles (elixirs, mostly) sitting empty next to it.

ghastlydawn hasn't been seen much, but she has been around. super disappointed with the change in the DR still - she grew up in the open world version, after all - she's been exploring to keep herself from lingering on her thoughts and getting even more homesick than she already is.

before is... pinned to a wall with several familiar knives. he doesn't look more than a little beat up, and mostly amused! he's got no idea why a Larxene attacked him, only to do barely anything aside from pin him there, but he can't move his hand enough to pull any of the knives out, and he doesn't want to rip his jacket. oh well.

islandflower is sitting in an outdoor room, a simple-looking field with several slightly battered targets some distance away, taking a break from practicing magic. the door is open and she's well in sight, but she's rather distracted reading.

fromshadow has found something that looks like it's fresh out of Halloween Town. it's a gloomy, mist-covered room, the door opening to a large clearing amidst spindly frost-coated trees. the clearing is filled with row upon row of gravestones, but each and every one of them marks an empty grave, the spaces all cleanly dug out but not even holding a coffin. he's standing just inside the doorway, too wary to actually go and check it all out.

conflagrate, who I totally didn't forget about, is in one of the closets. this particular one seems to hold clothing for both male and female, and she's just sort of absently browsing the men's button-down shirts at the moment. for some reason, all her clothing has gone and vanished from her room-house-thing, so she's rebuilding her wardrobe.]

...Did you just get here?

Yeah, though I'm not really sure how.

It's okay, it's the same for everyone.

[Kairi pushes herself up, dusting off her pants, and grins at Riku.]

Everyone just shows up here randomly. Sometimes it's through a door, sometimes it's just a flash of light. I fell out of the sky, personally, right into a river.

[He was about to comment on how that's kind of weird, but at that last part, he, visibly, is having to stop himself from laughing. Sorry Kairi.]

[She huffs playfully.]

Yeah, yeah, laugh it up, you.

[Grins.]

Alright..So then, how do we get back?

[We have bad guys to beat.]

[Her smile dies down a little at that.]

We don't, unfortunately. Not on our own, anyway. From what I've been told, people only go home when this place lets them, but time doesn't usually pass outside of here. Usually. It does for some people.

[Yeah, that smile is completely gone from his face at that.]

...That's not a funny joke, Kairi..

[Please let her have been joking D:]

I wish I were joking.

[She looks down briefly.]

There really isn't any exit. At least, not that anyone's found, and there are some people here who've been here for years.

[....Great. Figures. He finally gets to go home with his friends. He goes off to become a Master with Sora, is totally ready to kick bad guy butt...And this happens :c]

...How long have you been here?

Not long! I got here in, um. December? Late December, anyway. It's only about halfway through January now.

...Anyone else we know here?

Er... that's another weird thing, actually. There are doubles here. You should have seen the Christmas ball, with doubles of me and you and Sora and Naminé and even Organization members, just... everywhere. I think I even saw a female Sora, and a couple female Rikus. And a male me.

[Yeah, good idea lets get all the brain break done at once.]

[...She's going to wave a hand in front of his face.]

[.....Ow. His head. The brain break. It hurts.]

This is..Insane.

Yeah, it is. But it's... not too bad, all things considered. For places to get stuck, I mean. What was going on when you're from?

[Folds his arms, frowning a little.]

Sora and I just passed the Mark of Mastery exam. We were about to go look for Xehanort. Guess I can't do that here, huh?

No. And you two hadn't finished that yet, when I'm from. People can be from different times here, too.

Huh...

..So, what have you been up to then?

Training, mostly. Things started popping up while you and Sora were doing your exam, at least in my version of events, so I was gathered to help patrol while we waited for you two. Merlin taught me the basic spells, but since I'm still new with them, they're pretty weak.

Training huh?

[Looks over at the battered targets.]

Hm. I'm kind of curious now.

[She giggles a bit, almost nervously.]

I'm really not any good at the moment, not compared to you and Sora.

Hey, practice makes perfect right? And I'd like to see what you can do, if you feel up to it.

I guess I could. As long as you're not expecting too much.

[Though she's being a little hard on herself; she was capable of fighting before any training from folks in Radiant Garden! There's only so much you can watch two guys fighting while growing up without picking up a few things.]
