[TIME FOR AN ENTIRELY TOO LONG MULTI-CHARACTER POST.

seasides is in the kitchen... what a boring guy. with things set up kind of how they used to be, and people once again relying on the kitchens, he's made his way to the main one to cook up some stuff to stash away in the fridge and freezer for others!

fading is not amused. he's trapped in a cage in a section of hallway made of white sand and marble. the cage isn't very big, which has him stuck sitting, and looking rather grumpy. there's no visible lock on it.

skybright is currently pushing herself in a training room, magic drained and looking half ready to collapse where she stands. there's a first aid kit sitting on a bench nearby, several bottles (elixirs, mostly) sitting empty next to it.

ghastlydawn hasn't been seen much, but she has been around. super disappointed with the change in the DR still - she grew up in the open world version, after all - she's been exploring to keep herself from lingering on her thoughts and getting even more homesick than she already is.

before is... pinned to a wall with several familiar knives. he doesn't look more than a little beat up, and mostly amused! he's got no idea why a Larxene attacked him, only to do barely anything aside from pin him there, but he can't move his hand enough to pull any of the knives out, and he doesn't want to rip his jacket. oh well.

islandflower is sitting in an outdoor room, a simple-looking field with several slightly battered targets some distance away, taking a break from practicing magic. the door is open and she's well in sight, but she's rather distracted reading.

fromshadow has found something that looks like it's fresh out of Halloween Town. it's a gloomy, mist-covered room, the door opening to a large clearing amidst spindly frost-coated trees. the clearing is filled with row upon row of gravestones, but each and every one of them marks an empty grave, the spaces all cleanly dug out but not even holding a coffin. he's standing just inside the doorway, too wary to actually go and check it all out.

conflagrate, who I totally didn't forget about, is in one of the closets. this particular one seems to hold clothing for both male and female, and she's just sort of absently browsing the men's button-down shirts at the moment. for some reason, all her clothing has gone and vanished from her room-house-thing, so she's rebuilding her wardrobe.]

I'm sure you'll get there eventually. You're scary when you're determined. And I mean that in the best possible way.

[Grins and summons Way to Dawn.]

[Or she will get scary on your butt right this instant.]

[He's already terrified. Look at him. He's shaking in his sneakers.

Or, you know, not.]

Ready when you are.

[Pfft, whatever. She takes a deep breath, then slides into a comfortable stance, lunging at him a split second later. Possibly hoping to catch him off-guard, yes.]

[He shifts into a defensive stance and brings Way to Dawn up to block the attack. He wants to see what she can do, so he'll stay on the defensive for now.]

[Thoughtful of him! She's not using spells just yet, focusing instead on what she's seen and been taught for just plain combat. She's pretty good, all things considered! A fast learner, at least, and it seems she checks herself before letting any huge openings come up. Though of course, that means those moments have her attacking slower.]

[He's noticing. Lets see if he can help her learn a thing or two here.

If she hesitates too long before attacking again, he'll switch to offensive and try to force her back again. Gotta move quickly, Kairi!]

[Eep! She steps back quickly, almost hopping back, before throwing a Fire spell at him.]

[Dark shield! And he'll throw a fire of his own.]

[Reflect! She's really glad that was among the first spells she took the time to learn. It may be first level, but it still works!]

[Oh good. He was hoping she knew that one.

Well, he'll switch back to keyblade attacks and charge forward. Lets see how her defense is.]

[Her defense is surprisingly good! Of course, years of watching Riku and Sora sparring and the like have let her know their basic forms, so she can sometimes predict what's going to happen next based on how Riku's positioned.]

[masterofdawn]

[That's a good advantage to have! And since he's going easy on her, she should be able to keep up with him pretty well if she can predict his moves.]

[islandflower]

[Indeed! There may or may not be a Blizzard spell coming as soon as she finds a good moment for it.]

[masterofdawn]

[It's a hit! For a second he's tempted to counter with something a bit stronger while he's got the chance for a clean hit, his competitive side acting up a little, but he resists and jumps back to put some distance between them again instead.]

Not bad.

Know any Light spells? Considering you're a Princess of Heart, Light spells would be a good choice for you.

Mm, not yet. I only just learned the basic stuff before I got pulled here.

It was just a thought. Even if you can't find someone to help you learn any Light based spells there's still plenty you can do to get stronger. And I'd be happy to help with that as well.

I'm glad. It's nice to be able to actually fight now, but I'll need all the help I can get.
