(Soul Eater is not happy, and in Soul Eater form. he just found out that Kingdom is dying, and that there was a meeting for weapons about this. a meeting he was left out of. he thinks he should have expected such distrust, but at the same time, that he should've had a chance to voice his opinions)

Why was I left out of the meeting last night?

I'm not sure. A lot of people were. You'd have to ask Kingdom.

[The Glass Stain Image at the floor glows weakly, as if saying "Sorry. Go ahead, rant at me all you want."]

I just wish you could've given me a chance to voice my opinion.
And, believe me, it wouldn't just be 'submit to the darkness'. My opinion is deeper than that.

[Glows on and off. A second later, the image is of his human form and Soul Eater. Last apology?]

(he pauses, staring at it. finally, after a moment, he responds)

I forgive you, Kingdom.

[Have a very faint voice inside your head, Soul Eater.]

(well, you hit the nail on the head. that happens to be his biggest insecurity. he smiles)

[the tone isn't snarky at all--it's a lot softer then what he's used to.]

I really to a good reason as to why I was left out of the meeting yesterday night.

[despite that long nap she took, her form's still flickering a bit.]

(feels bad for her. he knows how close she and Kingdom were)

[and she sighs] I'll be okay. [the way her form is still flickering is starting to worry her, though]

(it's worrying him, too. human form is a go)

(he's not so convinced. does Selene need a hug?)

Y-yeah. I'm not sure why.

[she'd love one, but unfortunately she doesn't have the energy to be anything more solid than a projection.]

(darn. well, he's a bit awkward in the area of giving people comfort, but he's getting better at it)

You should mention it at the meeting Cookie's starting.

(well, he's not convinced. and, he's going to worry about it)

[nods, then looks at him]

It was...uh...the day before yesterday.

(suddenly, he feels a lot more tired than he felt a few seconds ago.)

[l-lol glaring.]

...Go sleep. You look like you need it. My wielder doesn't mind you staying in our room, by the way.

Yeah...I really need it.

(he's just about to leave, when-oh. forgot to thank her)

Well, first off, I probably wouldn't have noticed just tired I am until a good amount of time had gone by.
Second, I'd likely end up passed out in some random room, and, well, neither of those things are going to happen now.

(he's not exaggerating)

[starts to head off, but stops and waits for him]

(brb collapsing on bed)

'Night.

[grins]

(already half-asleep. just sort of mutters)

(in no time at all, he's sleeping)
