Didn't think it was.

I've never tried ice cream, though. A lot of mes seem to like it.

Mm. Sea-salt ice cream specifically.

It's not to my specific liking, either. If I am to indulge in ice cream, I prefer Pistachio Mint.

That sounds reasonable, at least.

Salt, in ice cream. Isn't it supposed to be some sweet thing?

The point, I suppose, is to provide a slight bitterness to the sugar, and the contrast make the overall flavor bolder.

Mm. I guess that'd work.

[he stretches, ears flicking back.]

Seafood, with lobster as a personal favorite.

[... licks lips.]

You enjoy it as well, then.

I don't know how to cook.

[he stares at the floor disdainfully.]

If I did, I'd cook myself some lobster.

Lobster requires less preparation than most seafood, since boiling is the biggest step involved.

I suppose I could prepare some.

[... well that's a surprised face.]

... can I watch?

Very well. Follow me.

[And, down the halls he goes.]

[and he does follow, obediently.]

[Into the kitchen. Lex quickly takes off and neatly hangs up his coat, going about and pulling out lobster, shrimp, and ingredients for a salad on the side. A big pot is grabbed, lots of water is dropped in, stove is set to start boiling it, etc, etc. He seems to be completely focused on preparing dinner.]

[he takes a nice little seat on the floor, away from Lex's passageway. he's intently watching, so he can make this later.]

[The shrimp is basted and BBQed, with citrus garnish to go along with it. The lobster is boiled, salads are made, and melted butter in a dish is prepped for the lobster.]

[Once all this is done, he sets the table, puts out a cracker for the lobster, sets food out, filling a glass for himself, and having a seat down at a table, waiting for the Roxas to join.]

[he sits up after a moment, looking confused.]

You're not eating? I'll leave if you don't want me watching.

I am going to eat. And so are you. But we are going to eat at this table.

[it takes a moment for him to get up, looking embarrassed.]

--sorry, I didn't know you wanted me to join. I'm usually not allowed at the table.

Rather odd, as your animal features are minimalistic, and you possess all the sentience of a human.

[Places shrimp on his plate, as well as cracking off a chunk of the lobster, opening it up and pouring butter on it.]

[he watches for a moment, eating with surprising manners. his ears twist around as he listens to him, staring at his plate.]

In my world, anyone with the genes of an animal is treated as such and made into a slave. Either way.

Bizarre. How would one get the genes of an animal, anyway? Genetic engineering, or some other method?

[Neatly eats up his food, never making a bit of mess.]

[he's not used to the utensils, so he tries--and as it doesn't turn out well, he takes a glance to Lex. over a few seconds, he's quickly learning how to make and eat lobster.]

I really don't know. I'm going to guess they bred together, a long time ago. Either that or it just... happened.
