Bizarre. How would one get the genes of an animal, anyway? Genetic engineering, or some other method?

[Neatly eats up his food, never making a bit of mess.]

I really don't know. I'm going to guess they bred together, a long time ago. Either that or it just... happened.

That's even more bizarre, as women can't get pregnant from animal sperm. At least, not in my universe. Genetic mutation and preservation over time is more likely.

[he pauses, tail flicking. he shakes his head.]

I taught myself, for the most part. Read books, watched others, and developed through trial and error.

Not necessarily. It depends on why the subject of attraction was on your mind in the first place.

It's been bothering me. It's like every room I look at, people are having sex in. It's annoying, and useless, anyway.

Sex is generally done for pleasure, or to show affection for another, or both. I'd say reproduction as well, but the amount of heterosexual couples in this crossroads seems to be quite minimal.

Many things that are only for pleasure could be considered quite useless. It all depends on the value we lend to them.

In this situation, I would assume one of two things. That you are either asexual and simply frustrated with others constantly having sex, or you yourself are attracted to someone, and feeling a similar kind of frustration.

[s-sputters. his ears fluff up before he goes back to drinking like a normal person.]

For all of our sakes, I'd hope it's the first one.

I wouldn't know your history here, or how long you've been here - or perhaps your history in your world before coming here - but based on your behavior, it's the most logical conclusion. However, it is not a certainty, just the more likely of conclusions.
