[Roxas isn't sure of anything at this point, but he hesitantly reaches out one finger and ghosts it across Riku's lips before daring to look back up at him.]

[Is so convinced that his face is going to be permanently red after all of this.

Slowly mouths a silent "I'm sorry" as he threads his fingers through Riku's hair.]

[Oh, remembers, this, leaning into the touch to his hair, smiling a bit. Maybe there's something in his hair, and Roxas is getting it?]

[It's that smile that gives Roxas the sudden courage to begin to pull Riku a little closer so that their faces are almost touching.]

[murmurs it, not sure why, but thinking he shouldn't talk loud right then]

[Gulps audibly, nervously, then closes his eyes, simultaneously arching upwards and pulling Riku down until their lips -- just -- meet.]

[Cuts off anything else Riku might say in the next moment by deepening the kiss, just taking in the completely new sensation of warm lips against his own.]

[fingers tighten on his hips lightly, head tilting to try and mimic what's happening, confused but just...going with it]

[Roxas has absolutely no experience with this -- or at least no memory of any past experience -- but this is ... kind of nice. Really nice.

He pulls away ever so slightly for air and dares to open his eyes, his hands sliding down to rest on Riku's shoulders.]

[murmurs it ever so quietly, head tilted to the side as he glances at Roxas lips]

[His eyes quickly open all the way once the realization sets in that he actually was able to say -- and not sing -- something.]

[hums quietly, pleased that his friend can talk without singing, at least some of the time, and leans in again]

[He tilts his head back up, finding Riku's lips once again with his own.]

[says it with a small, teasing smile, kissing the corner of Roxas' lips lightly]

Startled at the mention of Vexen's name, Roxas blinks up at Riku with an apologetic look on his face.]
