[fingers tighten on his hips lightly, head tilting to try and mimic what's happening, confused but just...going with it]

[Roxas has absolutely no experience with this -- or at least no memory of any past experience -- but this is ... kind of nice. Really nice.

He pulls away ever so slightly for air and dares to open his eyes, his hands sliding down to rest on Riku's shoulders.]

[murmurs it ever so quietly, head tilted to the side as he glances at Roxas lips]

[His eyes quickly open all the way once the realization sets in that he actually was able to say -- and not sing -- something.]

[hums quietly, pleased that his friend can talk without singing, at least some of the time, and leans in again]

Startled at the mention of Vexen's name, Roxas blinks up at Riku with an apologetic look on his face.]

[The corners of his mouth slowly turn up a little at the mention that it was a joke.]

[He does still have his concerns, but he's definitely not going to give voice to them, and Riku really has changed since the first time they met. He's definitely more assertive now....

Roxas looks him over thoughtfully, realizing, for the first time, just how handsome Riku is.]

[Smiles back, feeling for the worlds like he could really touch the sky (if there was a sky here), he's so ... happy.

Plucks up his courage to do what he didn't dare do in the kitchen, and inquisitively cards his fingers through Riku's hair. So soft....]

[kind of startled that Roxas looks so pleased, but just goes with it, smiling that small little half-smile]
