[ Oh shit, it's Larx. Or actually, it isn't. Not the one most people are familiar with. It's his much older, future self, hanging out on the roof of the elevator in the apartments, where he can't be seen or sensed until it's too late. He's just waiting for random passerby to harass, maybe kill, maybe gut and hang from their own intestines down the fronts of buildings... It's been a long time since he's had any fun around here, between how dull this current timeline is and the people in it. He's looking for some good fun or some good bait. But he's not picky, and he's terribly patient. ]

[He's going to get a boot planted between his shoulderblades, pressed him down into the ground.]

I'm going to give you a choice.

[fading]

[he was about to struggle a bit, but stops when Larxene talks, silent.]

[thundagun]

You can die right here when I cut your throat over the edge, bleeding out down the building. Or...

[He gestures with his chin toward the low edge of the roof.]

You can jump off yourself.

[fading]

I...

[oh god talking hurts, and his words are probably not perfectly clear.]

I-I'll jump.

[thundagun]

[He grins brightly, and reaches down for Nami's shoulder so he can haul him up. His fingers are positively biting into his skin.]

No portals. You might endanger that precious new heart of yours.

[fading]

R-Right.

[he takes a shaky, painful breath and will move whenever Larxene either lets him go or starts directing him.]

[thundagun]

I mean it.

[He gives him another shake and positions him in front of the edge, and before he has time to step over, embeds three knives right in his back.]

[fading]

[he screams in pain, and stumbles forward. there he goes, falling off the roof, sobbing. Larxene will probably be quite displeased when a portal forms when Nami's almost hit the ground. it closes as soon as he's through it, and he's skidding to a stop along the 'ground' in the inbetween, not having had the concentration to make a full connection to somewhere else. but as soon as he can even remotely think, he makes another portal and drags himself through it, to Kai's house, where he's positive he'll be safe.]

[He's very displeased, but he expected it. That's fine. Certain death is too easy. With things like this, he'll be in pain for quite a while, if pain is the only problem he has. Besides, this can act as a message. I'm still here.]
