[It had been a few months since he'd last been seen, and with good reason. He'd listened to Riku--he's only been eating the things from the vending machine. But he's realized a distinct problem with that. While they taste good, for sure, they provide nothing for a Nightmare. They're all designed with Spirits in mind, and thus they're made out of bad dreams. Which is, essentially, junk food for a Nightmare. So someone has been starving for a few months, but fear of retaliation has kept him hiding--especially as he's weakened. So he's left with one choice, really: hunt down someone willing to have a bad dream so that he can eat. If he spreads it among a few people, he can get away with it, he thinks. Even Riku can't object to that.

Right now? He's sneaking along the hallways, trying to avoid the Spirits. He's pretty much a prime meal right now.]

[She stretches her limbs out, cracking joints and really enjoying it, like she's prepared to settle in for a long sleep. Riku looks really unhappy with this entire plan, but she really can't argue against it after what she just said.]

...God he should find one. He won't know what they are, really.

[ABC is ready when she is. He's already beginning to "smoke."]

[Says Riku to Lea, who is grinning like an ass at this point and settling down on her side. This should be fun, right?]

[ABC will just roll his eyes. But when Lea's out? He's gonna Smoke and turn into that red-black darkness and seep into her dreams.]

[It takes a couple minutes, but not as long as it would if, say, she hadn't been asleep just a few minutes ago. She can't fall asleep at whim, but it's pretty close. Riku's still unhappy, but she won't be doing anything to stop them.

Lea's dream is different this time, set in a thick rainforest.]

[He's not gonna really pay attention to the dream, just sit down and place his hand on the ground and begin to suck up the good dream. A shadow will spread outward, modifying the dream--making it bad in his wake.]

[There are a lot of "people" in the dream, most of them just created by the dream, none really based on memories. Her dreams are vibrant and bright, and it's raining, even when it's sunny. Lea herself is building a very large and elaborate treehouse.]

[Welp, sorry, Lea. this isn't personal. He's only going to get a bit of a boost and let your dream only turn minorly bad--nothing you couldn't force back to being good. There's going to be a small fire breaking out nearby in the forest while ABC eats up. Not too much more--just enough to give him some healthy color back.]

[She notices that immediately, because it's new and invading her dream, and even though she doesn't necessarily understand why right now, it fills her with a sense of dread. This is bad.]

Kairi stop adopting Darklings--

[The fire will grow and begin to spread. That's when he removes his hand and backs up, turning back into that black mist and leaving! It's up to her to correct her dream while he reforms in the outside world.]

[Riku's sitting on the corner of the pool by the time he gets out, legs in the water as she watches them off and on. His abrupt exit makes her look over, eyes narrowed.]

It's bad for you.

Don't worry, it's just a small nightmare.

[He'll lower his hood. He's definitely looking a tad bit healthier.]

[She looks a little... not necessarily suspicious, but distrustful. Still, she's not doing anything, and not even moving out of the water.]

[Though it's not really nearly enough yet. So he's gonna go lean against the wall and wait for Lea.]

Can you control how bad they get?

Sort of. It depends on how much of the dream I eat. It's still in her control, so if she wills it enough, she'll have a good dream again.

Or you can just stick a Meow Wow or Komory Bat on her chest and it'll fix it right up.

[It looks like she's considering it, then she shakes her head.]

She knew what she was getting into.

[What. She is so confused.]

[That's her way of sort of changing the subject, ignoring the implications about herself, and not really denying it.]
