[It had been a few months since he'd last been seen, and with good reason. He'd listened to Riku--he's only been eating the things from the vending machine. But he's realized a distinct problem with that. While they taste good, for sure, they provide nothing for a Nightmare. They're all designed with Spirits in mind, and thus they're made out of bad dreams. Which is, essentially, junk food for a Nightmare. So someone has been starving for a few months, but fear of retaliation has kept him hiding--especially as he's weakened. So he's left with one choice, really: hunt down someone willing to have a bad dream so that he can eat. If he spreads it among a few people, he can get away with it, he thinks. Even Riku can't object to that.

Right now? He's sneaking along the hallways, trying to avoid the Spirits. He's pretty much a prime meal right now.]

[Welp, sorry, Lea. this isn't personal. He's only going to get a bit of a boost and let your dream only turn minorly bad--nothing you couldn't force back to being good. There's going to be a small fire breaking out nearby in the forest while ABC eats up. Not too much more--just enough to give him some healthy color back.]

[She notices that immediately, because it's new and invading her dream, and even though she doesn't necessarily understand why right now, it fills her with a sense of dread. This is bad.]

[Riku's sitting on the corner of the pool by the time he gets out, legs in the water as she watches them off and on. His abrupt exit makes her look over, eyes narrowed.]

Sort of. It depends on how much of the dream I eat. It's still in her control, so if she wills it enough, she'll have a good dream again.

Or you can just stick a Meow Wow or Komory Bat on her chest and it'll fix it right up.

[It looks like she's considering it, then she shakes her head.]
