She's taking a bit of a snooze under the sun, and flopped on the sand behind her is a book curiously titled "How To Hunt Elves."]

[those words just make Kira cry more, even though they make her feel happy inside; Papa always seems harsh and distant whenever she sees him that she really thought maybe he didn't love her at all, but hearing those words must mean it's not true, right?]

[He'll let her cry herself out then, safely cocooned by his wings with his arm still wrapped warmly around her waist. Her Papa's voice goes from softly sung lullabies to more worries and confessions of love, many of which were spoken when she was asleep or at the edge of it while he checked on her at night. Riku is patient, and will stay still with her to listen for as long as she needs. It would take hours for her to hear just the tip of the iceberg.]

[Kira manages to stop crying after a bit, since the hug and wings and warm feeling really help with settling down her Heart and her Light level goes back to somewhat normal, if still a bit low]

W-was... was that... all true?

Every bit. A lot of it was from his thoughts. He loves you, even if he doesn't say so enough.

[She might feel his Light nudging her own, but only a tiny bit. A firm nudge from him would be overwhelming.]

[Kira cheers up from feeling that little Light nudge, and especially from the confirmation that her Papa really does love her even if he doesn't show it much]

Ready to go out and face the world again?

[He lets the ball of Light fade away, then brushes his fingers across both her cheeks to wipe away the tear tracks. He won't move his wings until she's ready.]

[Kira nods her head a bit]

Uh huh. I'm sorry I cried on you.

[He'll spread his wings away from them then, slowly, because the sun is pretty bright.]

It'll take more than tears to do me in.

[Daddy turns into a creepy dead angel whenever he's in Halloweentown]

Where did you get that idea?

[He knows religion isn't big in some universes so he won't lecture her, but he does want to know what the heck she's talking about.]

Isn't that what happens on some worlds? Daddy's already been to Kingdom Hearts, but when he goes to Halloweentown, he turns into an angel and he's all creepy and dead and stuff. Angels are what happens after you die, or something like that.

Ah. I think you gave yourself the answer when you said Halloweentown. I'm as alive as I've ever been, and it's been a very long time. Here, see?

[He picks up a seashell, using the sharp edge to make a tiny cut on his fingertip. Silver-colored blood wells up much like human blood would, looking like liquid mercury. Some of it seeps into the shell he used, making it a silvery pink on one side as it dries.]

Y-you're bleeding! Why did you do that?! CURE!

To prove to you I've never been some dead creature. That tickled, by the way.

[The cut disappeared as if it were never there, though the bit of blood remains. He rubs his fingers and it disappears with a small flash of Light, then he's looking at the shell curiously.]

You didn't have to hurt yourself just to tell me something! What is it with boys and not wanting to use words?!

[Kira is a pro at scolding boys, especially when they do Stupid Boy Things]

I've noticed many humans don't really believe until they see something, is all.

[He could just remove the bloodstain from the little clam shell the same way he did from his finger, but since there's a small hole at the end he's offering it to Kira instead. It certainly doesn't look like it has blood on it that most people would recognize, and catches the light in a way he can admit looks nice. He'll offer it to Kira instead.]

Here. I suppose you could say this is one of a kind, now.

[Kira looks quite surprised and holds the shell carefully in both hands]

Is it all magical or something now?

I'm not sure about magical as I've never done that before, but perhaps it'll make a good keepsake. If nothing else, it might deter a pesky incubus I know is roaming about here somewhere.

A very annoying demon.

[He is quite pleased she doesn't know what one is already.]

[she's all pure pure purity pure over here, much to her annoyance; she's only kissed a few times]

[Kira goes faintly pink, because until recently she had a crush on her cousin and an Axel, but there's no one now she really likes or is all that interested in her]
