[He should still be in bed. He's still recovering from having Ven's heart ripped out of his chest, and most of his light with it, but a certain encounter has left him pushing his limits to a dangerous degree. So right now, he's in the simulation room, pounding through whatever enemies it'll feed him. Even when he feels like he should probably collapse, should probably crawl back in bed.

All that matters right now is he disappointed his father, and he needs to become stronger so he doesn't do it again. Even as he collapses and the simulation shuts down, and he shakes, he just wants to get up and do more.]

I'm pretty sure your dad doesn't want his son exhausting himself to get better at something. I wouldn't. But I might be a terrible dad.

[Sora just fumes, walking toward the door. Also, haha, if he kills himself training, it does mean he's a disappointment. But, oops. That's the way it goes with Ansem.]

I have to keep going... I have to become stronger, better than Riku...

[Well, that's something he hasn't heard a Sora say in a while. Interesting. Watch out for that large light shield that's been called into being in your path, Sora.]

Any particular Riku? Or all of them?

The one Dad's currently using.

[And his own, but he can already kick his ass. So he thinks.]

[He won't say much more.]

White hair, bad tan? That Ansem? I wouldn't bother trying to impress him. It'll just end badly for you.

[Haven't you been told that he's bad news, anyway?]

I'm not trying to impress him, I just want to be strong and not disappoint him by getting hurt!

[And yeah, his hand's automatically gonna rest over his heart right now. Most recent injury was there. And of course he has. It doesn't mean he believes it, though.]

But yeah. That's the one. He adopted me when I was a child.

If you want to get stronger, start by resting. My own son could probably beat you if he tried hard enough right now, and he's less than half your age.

[He's not touching Sora's familial stuff, at least not right now.]

I'm tired of resting.

[He had to stay in bed a long while.]

[He's keeping an eye on Sora, though.]

I was waiting for you to finish with the sim room.

It's yours, unless you want to lecture me more.

Nah, unless you're planning on doing anything else that requires me to lecture you.

[Into the simulation room he goes!]

[Though he wants to watch now. Maybe he can pick up something.]

Good.

[He's welcome to watch. Riku's going to be programming in various stronger Heartless to fight.]

[Then he'll watch for sure.]

[\o/ This Riku uses light and darkness actively when he's fighting, making him slightly different from other Rikus. A couple minutes into the fighting, there's a sudden burst of music from Riku's general area, but if he's heard it, he doesn't do anything to stop it.]

[Sora's never used light, so this is curious. Though what's more curious is that music. What's going on?]

[Said music continues, prompting Riku to huff and try to fight while getting something out of his pocket. A cellphone, the source of the noise. He doesn't answer it, though, and instead glances at it and slides it across the floor, over to the doorway.]
