[ It looks like a costume shop's opened up in the DR, by the look of this new hallway and the room it leads to. Wigs, rubber fangs, acrylic fangs, claws and animal ears, tails, paws, and full-body suits. Horns, wings, and halos. There are uniforms and spooky cloaks, fake body parts, packages of makeup, and masks. So very many masks. Ranging from cartoonishly deformed, to unsettlingly realistic.

But perhaps most unsettling is the entire far wall, dedicated to costumes and masks and wigs designed to resemble the Dressing Room residents. This could lead to some very unfortunate outcomes. Did we mention that each item becomes real when tried on? Have fun removing those fangs. ]

[ ooc: Open post / threadhop event post. Have fun. o/ The costume pieces come off when covered by another costume, when destroyed, or when the character leaves the hall. Unless you want to keep them. ]

[this guy already has fangs and horns, thank you very much. he's eyeing the contents of the hallway from a nearby door, partly curious and partly disdainful (but not as much as he'd like people to think).]

[heeeey, that's what he likes to hear, especially since it seems to be a familiar blood-curdling scream. time to investigate!]

[No you, you bulgelicker. It's probably been a while since he's heard her this freaked out. It's not a pained scream, it's one of complete fear and panic. As to why should be obvious when he finds her. Apparently she tried on a fake human stomach. A pregnancy costume! But he won't know what that is, huh?]

[i'll lick YOUR bulge, if you come over here. ;D no, that is kind of worrisome, and he tracks her down pretty quickly, and stares when he finds her.]

...you look like you need to be drained. What the fuck is that?

[Well. Scales feel interesting. She's pretty glad this happened before she tried on the other lizard-monster glove.]

[There's a muffled sound of surprise coming from not too far away, followed by the sound of a display getting knocked over. Does she dare to investigate?]

[She does. Cautiously, though, with that clawed and monstrous hand behind her back as she walks over.]

[She'll find Riku looking much like the last time she'd seen him, except now he's somehow much more attractive despite being paler and breathing heavily, and is still on the floor surrounded by different kinds of vampire fangs still in the packaging. He's doing his best not to actually look at her, and if she comes closer he's going to try scooting back against the shelf behind him.]

[Having been a vampire once, and having met several of them here in the DR, it's not hard to figure out what's happened to him. Not with her new claw, anyway. She drops it to her side and stops where she is, a few feet away and in view of him.]

Teeth?

[Aden has clearly been in here a while. He's currently sporting webbed hands and feet, razor sharp teeth, solid black eyes and is looking at a pair of gills. Hmm. But those might be a bad idea to try on.]

[Have what appears to be an extremely shiny Demyx in a toga. Nobody warned Nocturne about the magic costumes.]

Pretty far. But I think I'll deviate a little. Just one costume's boring if there's no one around to scare.

[He grins.]

Heh. Ever been to Halloween Town? Sounds like you'd fit in, though most of them don't need to bother with costumes.

I've been there, yeah. You'd be surprised.

[And here we have an Axel. Wait, no, it's just a Riku in a wig. That won't come off no matter how hard he tries...why wasn't he told this before?]

[Kai is looking a teensy bit see-through at the moment. it might have something to do with the packages of ghost sheets he's frowning at! oops.]

[ignoring the other thread with this guy entirely (or maybe this is after, and he's hunting for fresh humans now P: ), Hachibi is lurking near the door of this room. he recognizes Kai from Halloween, and also his resemblance to the troll Kai, and after a moment's consideration he slides into the room.]

That seems like it'd be pretty handy in a fight.

[he snorts, practicing a bit of floating before moving to punch a fist through Hachibi's shoulder.]

Not particularly.

[that's about how he figured this would work, and he grins winningly (which mostly just looks really scary and threatening). he also whips one hand out lightning-fast in a strike that would've raked his claws across Kai's throat and caused some moderate damage if Kai were solid right now.]

I meant for the defensive, actually. If you're anything like the Kai I know, you hate fighting.

That doesn't mean I can't.

[he doesn't even flinch at the attack, instead just rolling his eyes.]

[These costumes are... interesting. There's a couple of togas hanging around. One of them is currently on Nocturne, who is looking rather... shiny as a result.]

Okay, whose bright idea was this?

[There's a quiet snicker from nearby, and the culprit appears to be a Roxas. He's not in any costume, having wandered in just in time to see Demyx's transformation. His black button-up and jeans are looking pretty mediocre in comparison.]

[Nocturne raises an eyebrow.]

Very funny, Roxas.

[He's wearing normal clothes under the toga, too. It doesn't appear to care.]

[His grin looks pretty unrepentant, and in the next minute he's miming just how blinding Demyx is. Really, Demyx, you're like a small sun!]
