*There is a new Sora wandering down a hall way looking confused. He's dressed slightly more warmly than a regular Sora and looks around 14.*

Where is this? How did I get here?

*It was weird since the last thing he remembered was being on the road after having left Namine's house. He hadn't even lied down to take a nap or anything. Just there one minute and here the next.

Say, maybe Riku is here somewhere!*

Hey! Riku! Are you here?

((I don't know how many people remember this guy considering how long ago this was, but this is Sora from an AU based on The Snow Queen. He plays the role of Gerda, the main character and Riku is Kay. The rest of the cast list is Here.))

[Sure is! There's a Riku peeking out of this room, in fact. Of course, it's probably not his Riku. Unless his Riku's a girl.]

[snowandsky]

[Nope. His is definitely a boy. Sora doesn't quite notice her right away, still looking around him as he walks down the hall, still calling.]

Riku! Hey!

[And then he finally does notice there's someone watching him and turns to look.] Huh?

[He wouldn't quite recognize her though. Not only is she a girl, she's way older than the one he knows.]

[dawnrise]

[She raises an eyebrow at him, emerging from the room further and leaning against the doorframe.]

Not me, right?

[snowandsky]

Uh...

[He blinks at her. She really does look an awful lot like Riku... This is so weird.]

Ah, no, I don't think so. Who are you?

[dawnrise]

[Oh. Oh, okay, she gets it now.]

Riku. And you're Sora, right?

[snowandsky]

Yeah...

[Wait, what?]

Wait, you're Riku?! But you're a girl!

[dawnrise]

And you're a boy. I'm glad we've established that.

[At least that was signature Riku Deadpan ©]

[snowandsky]

[Yeah, Sora definitely recognizes that. That's the sort of thing he'd expect from the Old Riku, unlike the New one who'd have been meaner about it.]

W-well... It's not like this is the sort of thing that happens every day you know!

[One would wonder if he had any right to say something like that when he comes from a world where animals talk and it seemed perfectly alright to ask a river if it had really taken his friend. It wasn't as if things were already weird where he came from.]

[dawnrise]

[The river thing is new.]

I guess. I'm getting used to it here, but since this is your first time... Exactly how long have you been here?

[snowandsky]

[Well, who else was he supposed to ask? And it did send him a boat, so it must've known something.]

I only just got here a few minutes ago.

[dawnrise]

Right. That makes sense. Come on, I'll show you around.

[She gestures for him to follow, already closing the door and turning to move.]

[snowandsky]

[He follows obediently. He's still confused, but he figures it'll make sense eventually.]

What is this place, anyway?

[dawnrise]

This is the dressing room. Exactly what kind of world are you from?

[Would Traverse Town sound familiar? Hmm.]

[snowandsky]

Dressing Room? [What kind of name for a place is that?

And no Traverse Town isn't familiar.]

What world? I'm... from Earth. [Well, a Very Fairy Tale version of it, but, yeah.]

[dawnrise]

...right, one of those. Are you familiar with other worlds at all? Alternate universes?

[This is going to be a tough one, huh?]

[snowandsky]

[He thinks about this.] Other Worlds? You mean like... Well, I've heard stories about stuff like that, but I've never seen any of it. [It's a fairy tale world, so there's probably something like that in there somewhere.]

[twilit_kid]

Here I am!

[The voice is muffled and coming from behind a door down the hall. What do, Sora?]

[snowandsky]

Huh?

[That... sounded kind of young. He walked towards the door the voice had come from and opened it.]

[twilit_kid]

[Out pours an avalanche of beach toys and surf boards, swim gear and one laughing Riku as he tumbles out with everything else. He looks no more than five, with blow-up arm floaties and swim trunks on.]

You found me!

[snowandsky]

Whoa! [He quickly steps out of the way of the avalanche.

Wow, this is still so hard to get used to. A Riku who was still a kid. What's all that stuff anyway?]

That was close. What were you doing in there?

[twilit_kid]

Getting ready to go swimming! You wanna go too?

[He's wriggling in the pile, awkwardly moving to try to stand in it with flippers on his feet.]

[snowandsky]

Swimming? There's a place to go swimming here?

[He continues to stare in confusion at all the stuff that fell out of the closest, before deciding to help the little Riku stand up.]

[twilit_kid]

[He will waddle around the hall as soon as he's on his feet, his arms out and occasionally flailing.]

Yeah! You wanna see?

[snowandsky]

Sure! [He's been swimming before, in a lake, and it's been a while so he's interested. He still wonders what all this stuff has to do with swimming though.]

[twilit_kid]

[He'll find himself having an already inflated float ring being shoved in his direction, then. As soon as he takes it, Riku's taking off down the hall as fast as he can waddle.]
