[Since everyone is doing open posts:

sunsettingly is spending this afternoon taking a walk along the shore in the beach room. He's just kind of quietly musing, and completely not distracted by a book for once.

sunrisingly however, is buried in books in the living room by his hallway. They're spread out all over the place, and easy to trip over if you don't watch your step.

illumifated is in the Twilight Town room, being as predictable as possible and watching the clouds go by from the top of the clock tower.

frostedwaters is in the garden, watering the flowers (minus the watering can).]

[Better watch where you're watering, seems there's a blond napping beside the flower bed.]

[Ohhh it is so tempting to just sprinkle some on him. But that would be mean, and so she doesn't. She just kneels down nearby and taps him lightly on the nose.]

Hey sleepyhead.

[f_iery]

[His nose wrinkles immediately and a hand attempts to swat hers away. What is touching me? It is cold! But that temperature is enough to get him to blink his eyes open and stare up at her blankly.]

I don't remember ordering a wake up call...

[But a cuddle buddy would be nice, so he's tugging her down beside him now instead.]

[She flops down beside him, a smile on her face.]

You don't get to request wake up calls with me. You get a complementary one for snoozing on the job.

Well, good thing you're around to keep me in line.

[And to act as my pillow as I drag you into being lazy with me. Roxas's head burrows into her shoulder as he pulls her into a sideways hug.]

That's what I'm here for.

[Stop being so adorable, bro! You're like a cute blond puppy that sometimes teases me about my nonexistent relationship.]

[You're right. I am. Especially when I make this face at you like I am right now.]

What would I ever do without you?

Be completely lost, of course!

[Time for hair ruffles!]

[He laughs, ducking his head, though he doesn't fight those ruffles. What's it matter? It's already a bird's nest up there.]

H-Hey! Give me a little credit. I think I could find an alarm clock on my own eventually.

[there's a grunt from where one exits onto the ledge at the top of the Twilight Town clocktower as Riku comes limping on up. he snuck in, not letting Roxas see him on purpose, but the way up was a little more painful than he'd thought it would be.]

[Roxas was really not expecting company, but it's a pleasant surprise. He turns to watch Riku, popsicle stick sticking out of the corner of his mouth.]

Don't make me come over there.

[fromshadow]

Shut up.

[there's no venom behind that, obviously. he makes his way to Roxas and eases down beside him, trying to hide his grimace. goddamn.]

Why are you climbing all the way up here with that bum leg of yours?

[You stupid idiot, stop worrying me.]

I didn't want to make you come down.

[he just wanted to surprise Roxas. he didn't think it'd bother his leg this much.]

I would have, if I'd known you were here.

[Getting down might be a pain, if not for the magic of portals.]

[fromshadow]

Maybe I missed the view.

[that's partially true, at least.]

[illumifated]

Really.

[Roxas can't understand why Riku would miss this view, but he himself certainly misses it often.]

It never really changes. It looks the same as back then.

[If you're not distracted by a book, maybe the blond lying down in the sand over there will grab your attention then. Considering he's younger than most here, with an incredibly familiar heart, Riku should be rather concerned to find him lying around in the beach room.]

[sunsettingly]

[Yeah, when he recognizes that familiar bright heart, the fact that it's littlexas laying down in the beach room kind of sets off the Big Brother Red Alert.

Hey.

Wake up.]

Roxas?

[preflame]

[He doesn't appear to have been hit by a wave or anything. In fact, he looks perfectly healthy! If anything, a little tanner. When he hears his name he stirs and blinks his eyes open.]

... huhwhat.

[sunsettingly]

Are you okay? Or are you just stupid enough to lay out in the room full of water?

[preflame]

What? Oh... oops.

[He glances around after sitting up, idly shaking the sand out of his hair.]

I was waiting to see if Kairi would stop by. She wasn't in her room earlier, so... I must've fallen asleep by accident.

[sunsettingly]

I think I saw her out on the ice rink earlier. Don't even think about going there all by yourself, though.

[You need a chaperone anywhere there is water or ice, young man.]

As long as you're just sitting here though...

[PLOP. Have a companion.]

[He's fine with that, actually letting out a laugh at what Riku says.]

I'll just call her later... I like this room. I know it's not really safe for me to be in here, but it's calming.

That's not the answer I expected. I think older you just feels anxious in here.

[Riku finds it calming though, and rests his head and arms on his knees.]
