[Open post! I need more characters that aren't Riku

antipodean here has discovered the simulation room, and after a bit of trial and error, has managed to get it to not try to kill him. That is, he's fighting low-level Heartless at the moment.

darkyang is in the kitchen, trying his hand at cooking by following written directions! It's not hard in theory, and he has managed to produce a small stack of not-burnt pancakes so far. Victoly is his.

juniorheroine is going through a closet full of girls' clothes, trying to find something that's not a dress.

notacopy has discovered his love for video games. Or actually just discovered video games in general. Either way, he's currently immersed in a Zelda game, which is loud enough that one can probably hear it out in the hallway. What is volume control?

lightyin is a bit younger than usual. Somewhere around nine or ten, and not very happy about it. To make matters worse, his clothes didn't change with him, so it's a chore just to walk around.]

[No, he'll just dump it onto the corner of his plate, then wipe his hand off on his shirt as he nods to the question, his voice a little raspy.]

[How convenient that there's a glass sitting nearby. Not that it was for Sora, but it is now, after Shiru goes to fill it with water.]

[He'll take a good, long drink before he answers.]

I forgot Riku said you get mad easy...

[Dammit Riku. You need to be punched next time he sees you. Sigh.]

I don't get mad easily. I just don't bottle up every emotion like he does.

Like the black coat people? Where does he put them?

[Whoops, taking you literally.]

The Organization? He's not a--wait, what? Where does he put what?

[Now he's confused.]

His emotions. You said he puts them in bottles, so he doesn't feel stuff as much like the people in the black coats, right? I wondered where he put all those bottles.

[darkyang]

[You are getting a confused stare, Sora, while he puzzles over exactly what you said. And then he gets it, and laughs.]

He doesn't really put them in bottles. He doesn't show emotions very often.

[giveyoumy]

Oh. I was going to ask you how he even put them in bottles, next.

[He's going to finish off the rest of the pancake, savoring each bite that happens to have a chunk of chocolate in it. He didn't even put syrup on it.]

...how come he does that?

[Good to see his cooking has gotten slightly better. Enough that someone else thinks it's edible, anyway. He takes a pancake for himself, rolling it up into a tube to eat it.]

Because some people are impressed by it.

What's so impressive about looking like this all the time?

[Sora's making his best constipated expression.]

[Riku says excuse you he does not look like that! Shiru thinks it's funny, though.]

Some people think it is. Girls, I guess.

[giveyoumy]

Blegh! Who wants girls following them around all the time, anyway?

[Sora's going to nick another pancake, if he can. He'll roll it up like Shiru did.]

[Sora's welcome to whatever pancakes he wants!]

What's wrong with girls?

Well.. They smell funny, and giggle at you lot, or want you to do stuff for them that you know you won't want to do either, and.. they're just- girls.

[This probably sounds much like what Riku and his Sora would have decided before puberty hit them like a ton of bricks.]

[That actually accurately describes what Shiru thinks of the girls in Radiant Garden, especially Kairi and Yuffie. He's quiet for a few moments while he considers this.]

Most of them are like that, yeah.

And Riku likes that kind of stuff?

[He never realized Riku was so weird.]

I dunno. You'll have to ask him.

[And he'll likely add that Shiru suggested it, too.]

[Shiru wouldn't mind that. They don't get along that well anyway, and that bit of information wouldn't change their relationship. Also brb going to the fridge for milk to go with these pancakes.]

[Sora's going to poke his head under Shiru's arm as he opens the door, peering inside as well. A lot of it looks so foreign to him, and he's still not sure what's safe to eat.]

Everything looks so different from when I looked yesterday...

[darkyang]

[Not the soda, at least. Sora's going to get the jug of milk set on his head--not left there, as Shiru's still holding it, but still there.]

Want anything? I was just getting milk.

[giveyoumy]

I don't know what most of it is.

[Oof. He's looking upward now without moving his head.]

I know most of it. I need to take some stuff to put in the other fridge.

[He removes the milk from Sora's head, stepping back from the open door.]

Okay, then what's this?

[He's pulling out some tupperware with what looks to be meatloaf inside. Certainly something he's never encountered before.]
