[There's a few folks of the Xehanort persuasion out and about today, it seems...

The youngest?

blankedpoint can be found raiding a kitchen. Got to say, he likes this much of things since they changed. Not like he has any clue that most places don't.

A teenaged one, then.

another_chance has found himself an arcade room, and is very happily taking a blast at some seriously retro games.

The adult?

forza_del_bene has found the laboratories, and he could hardly be happier. He's hard at work setting up various bits of kit.

A female one -

exmariascientia is in the simulation room. Taking a very logical and precise study of the effects of whacking a rather too bulky looking keyblade at things.

In other news.

An Aqua has finally come out of seclusion.

tideturned reacted in a most-un-Master-like fashion to the DR closing in again, but she's improving. She's hanging out in a comfy lounge, listening to music and sipping on some kind of relaxing herbal tea. Just taking it easy.

As far as Keyblade Masters go, there's another who's stirring;

lightofoblivion is in the library. Felicius is catching up on a few history books, though he can't help but find himself cursing the lack of anything much between his own era and that of most of the residents...

Last of all, a pair of Heartless.

kingdom_seed is in a garden; Layla's well wrapped up against any chill in the air, sitting on a bench and happily writing away.

As for her father? As for

... Maybe it's a good job she can't see Kurt at the moment. This is a Heartless on the prowl. Maybe not conspicuously so, but better stay clear of those back corridors if your heart's interesting enough...]

Why would she if they feared for his life? And how would a marriage prevent him leaving if he were such a person? [Headshake.] I'm sure your father is a good man. But I simply can't see his logic.

Daddy's like that. He means well. Besides, uhm... very bad things happened to Nami when she was really little, which is why my parents adopted her in the first place. Daddy is especially protective of her, since she's very shy normally. This whole thing came out of nowhere for him.

[Frown.]

Being protective - well. I can understand that. My old apprentice had - very particular issues. It was hard for me to not be the same at times. [Back so long ago, in another life...]

But in the long run, it's not going to help either of them. [Headshake.] I hope he can understand before... mistakes are made.

Well, that's why Daddy has Mama and Papa. They can keep him from doing anything too drastic. Though, if Nami would just bring her boyfriend and introduce him, I'm sure Daddy would calm down over it.

[He nods, smiles slightly.]

It's reassuring that they're being more - level headed about this, at least. It seems like your family needs it right now.

Uh huh! It's really Daddy who gets the most bent out of shape about things, but it's why we love him. He just wants what's best for us.

[Another nod.] It sounds like it. Even if he has an odd way to show it. [Chuckling a bit.]

Anyway, enough about Daddy being crazy. What're you up to, Master Felicius? I haven't seen you in a long time!

Oh, nothing so special. [He shrugs.] I spent some time exploring before things changed, but I've been more or less just keeping to myself since then. At the moment? A little bit of studying, that's all.

What're you studying?

[you're all old and stuff shouldn't you know everything already? thankfully Kira doesn't say that part out loud]

Oh, mostly history. A lot of this is just about lost by my own time... it's interesting to see what I've missed out on.

Oh. I thought because you're old you'd know lots about history and stuff.

[there goes that tact though she's not being mean about it]

[He gives her a cool look, with a faint touch of dry amusement to it.]

Living longer than most people here doesn't exactly mean I've lived through all of this.

Oh. I suppose you're right. Or else you'd be like a million years old or something.

[she's so painfully young sometimes]

[That earns a bit of a laugh.]

I doubt there's any civilisation that's lasted that long in any world, never mind any individual.

A million years would be super old, huh?

The oldest civilisations are - oh, tens of thousands of years old. Perhaps a hundred. It'd be something, though, hm? Being able to watch them rise and fall... [he chuckles.] Oh, you don't want to hear an old man daydreaming.

[Kira actually giggles a little]

That's alright. You're very nice for an old guy. Not all cranky and mean at all.

It must be your good influence.

[Which is truer than his amiable smile's letting on, there... true he genuinely likes her, as far as he can, but no point spoiling goodwill, is there?]

Because I'm awesome, right?

[Kira's very trusting and sees the good in people; plus, she's never seen Master Felicius do anything cranky or mean, except when they first met so she thinks he's okay]

[He laughs.]

Oh, indeed.

See, that's why I like you, Master Felicius! You're so nice all the time.

[A bit of a headshake:]

You've not seen me 'all the time', Kira.

[But still said in a warm, harmless way.]

Well, of course not. But I still think you're a very nice person.

[her Light is so bright, isn't it?]

[So, so incredibly so. Light like that... it's what he wants to save.]
