[See, happy as  censoredpilot  is to dick about with engine bits all day, he can't go and let himself get soft even if he doesn't see much (read as: any) fighting nowadays. Which is what finds Cid in the training room.
Though with his spear against the wall instead of in his hands and a large portion of floor cleared, it probably looks more like he's performing a gymnastics routine than anything really fighting related.

There's a method to his madness though: all those jumps and hand springs aren't just for his health. Though that may assume his chain smoking didn't indicate his blatant disregard for his health.]


[ patchworksniper is getting some sun in the Destiny Islands. Without a shirt or his coat he's giving a nice view of the extra metal on him. 'Course sand isn't real good for his mechanical arm, but the sound of him caring is apparently 'zzz.']


[datafreeze is in the library, trying to surreptitiously poke through the filthy harlequin  'romance' section without being seen there. Unfortunately for her, Vexen's attempts to be stealthy probably draw more attention to her than if she tried to be nonchalant about it.
This, however, will not stop her from denying this till the heat death of the universe if caught.]


[ gameofpretend  is busying himself examining a room that bears a very distinct resemblance to an M. C. Escher artwork. Said examining currently involves rolling marbles down stairs and watching the room say 'fuck you' to gravity but Luxord is putting some serious consideration in to seeing if the same thing happens with a person.]


[Meanwhile, justalittlesick  is on a nice hallway stroll. With his more obviously identifying features hidden and a squealing boar piglet under his arm. Whether Even's about business or pleasure today chances are, it's going to suck to be piggy later.]

Feed anything mortal a small amount of vampire blood and it will partially take on some of the abilities of the vampire without most of the drawbacks.

[See there's no Camarilla or hell any other vampires of his sort that might rouse on him (read: stake and decapitate) for not upholding the masquerade so he's not giving any fucks.]

[It's mostly a joke, since he lacks the capacity to communicate with animals any animal ghouls he creates are incredible limited in use. Making human ghouls vastly preferable.]

It's more addictive than any drug, forces loyalty to the provider of the blood, causes the possibility of triggering violent frenzies, and in the case of Luxord's blood in particular, drives you completely mad.]

For a lot of people it's a much better deal than taking on Cain's curse.

[Luxord's just going to casually stroll to the edge of the bridge he's standing on and walk up the wall (or more accurately, path) adjacent.]

He is said to be the first.
In the early days of the world there were these two brothers asked to make a sacrifice to their god. One offered his crops, the other offered his animals.

They fought over who's sacrifice was better, and the brother who offered crops 'offered' his brother as well, thus becoming the first murderer.

In punishment for inventing murder, Cain was said to be cursed by god. He was offered means for forgiveness for his crime, and each offer he rejected added a curse to his punishment.

After a few thousand years of loneliness, being unable to die, and a lot of other things largely unrelated to this particular tale, he happens upon the first city and creates four companions. Who in turn create thirteen of their own that almost all modern vampires are descended from today.

They all share the curses placed on Caine, and in turn a lot of them suffer from curses that were placed by Caine on their ancestors in punishment.

That's... a kind of depressing story.

[though more than a story and all that, he knows. unless Luxord's just pulling his leg about it all.]

[Being entirely truthful no one actually knows the 100% truth, and Malkavian specific history is an especially difficult thing to pin down because you have the memories of thousand and thousand of similarly mad people who have 'issues' with the reality line all connected to the original memories and it all gets terribly muddled.]

It only gets more depressing with the third generation who murdered Caine's childer.

The rest is mostly fuzzy on detail anyway, for the most part people only know it might have happened. Most just regard it all as a story, like the bible it refers to. And those that think it's more usually only know about their own clan.

Malkavians know the truth, we don't share, and those that would can't.

Most other clans lack the ability to understand what they're talking about, often they refuse to listen enough to even begin to understand.
They don't always realise the value of the words until they get older, but most don't live long enough for that, and only the smartest really follow.

Then all the young ones under them get cross about it because they don't think the words are important for their elders to listen to and the message gets forgotten in favour of politics.

[Luxord can keep up the with the changing gravity all day but he's not moving around quite as much as he could because civilised conversation is awful difficult if you have to yell.]

A bit over two hundred.

[Which is actually still fairly young by vampire standards even though you're lucky if you manage to live that long.
Actually he's under forty but this is part of his delusion, enabled by the DR and he will frenzy if anyone tried to point out the disparities between his memories and the actual time line.]
