[ When the DR changed last Spring the only room Riku found herself missing, much to her surprise, was the simulation room. She could never find it after that. Now that the place is back to endless hallways and doors, it was almost frustratingly easy. But it was always one of her favorite spots to train. Emphasis on 'was'. Not today, says the DR. Today, she got to shrink down to kid-sized just as a horde of fake Neoshadows jumped on her. You know what isn't easy? Taking down digital Heartless when your keyblade is too heavy for you to wield. She's still trying even now, in a six-year-old body, slinging around dark fire and blizzard magic at a group of Unversed. ]

[Need any help, Riku? Your male counterpart is nearby, just watching for the time being. Thankfully, he's not tiny like she is.]

[Probably. But even though she's having trouble with only her magic to back her up, she's not about to ask for help. They're just simulations!

Except one of the Unversed just grabbed her by the ankles and is now holding her upside down in the air.]

[Okay, that's slightly amusing...but regardless of whether she actually wants help, that's when he's going to step in. Let's see how well he can get cut down the Unversed and/or catch her before she hits the ground.]

[If she ends up dropped on her head because of him, she's going to be really annoyed. The enemy is just a Flood - easy to take down.]

[lightyin]

[What if he catches her by one leg then? Because that's what he's going to try to do when the Flood disappears.]

[Roxas narrowly misses getting hit by that blizzard magic, having to jump out of the way as he was heading into the room to offer some help.]

Hey! Watch where you're throwing that.

[Once on his feet again, he brings up a wall of fire around her, keeping any others from getting close before he can get over there.]

[If it had been fire she probably wouldn't have apologized, because hey, what, she doesn't need help, but she does recognize which Roxas this is. The wall of fire still brings up protest.]

[He's at her side now and looks down at her disapprovingly.]

You should be fighting this many on your own. Where'd you get this anyways?

[he's referring to the keyblade.]

[She stares at him, and frowns grumpily.]

What d'you mean where? It's mine.

[He looks confused for a second, because he knows how your storyline goes, but then nods in understanding, giving her an amused look.]

So the dressing room shrunk you? That sucks, I hope that's not going around.

[As to getting rid of that firewall, he's not making any move to do so at the moment.]

[At first he was alarmed when he came across a kid surrounded by Heartless, but it was quickly followed by the reminder to himself which room this was. Now, he's simply leaning against the wall by the door to watch.]

[Shrinking down over ten years her normal age hasn't affected how strong her magic is, at least. The dark firagas she's slinging are just as effective as normal, and she's taking down most of the Heartless easily. Really, the difference in height is the only thing tripping her up. Makes it easier to get knocked across the room into walls, you know. Like that.]

[There's a dark barrier springing up between her and the Heartless shortly after, but it disappears as soon as she has her wind back.]

[dawnrise]

[She's up on her feet in no time, coughing from the impact but steady enough. The Heartless is briefly ignored in favor of looking around for who or what did that. She wasn't paying attention before, but he gets a set of raised eyebrows.]

[He raises one back at her. There's not another barrier springing up if she's so distracted that she forgets she's still under attack.]

[someone's gotten to the controls; Riku there's a tiny replica of your Keyblade clattering to the floor nearby, just because.]

[dawnrise]

[She looks startled by its appearance, whirling around to the controls. She looks surprised, and maybe a tiny bit amused.]

I figured it was only fair for you to have your normal weapon.

[not that it's really all that normal, but hey.]

[She looks grumpy, and a little embarrassed because wtf tiny keyblade.]

I've still got it, it's just too big.

[She'll try swinging the replica at a nearby Shadow, though.]

[it should work on fake Heartless just fine, at least!]

I figured as much.

[lolz looks who's a shorty; Ri will just be watching but he's ready to jump in if necessary]

[no u, Ri. The Heartless get progressively harder as she takes more down. But it's not until a trio of Invisibles show up that she starts to back off.]

[once that happens, Ri has no qualms about throwing a Dark Shield over Riku and beating down the Invisibles old school with Soul Eater]

[She's grateful, just because those can be a real pain in the ass when you're not tiny. But his attitude kind of squashes down those grateful feelings.]

But you're so tiiiiiiiiiiiny and cuuuuuuuute!

[hold on a sec he's going to be ripping into those Invisibles for another few moments, and maybe Riku will be able to tell how much Darkness Ri's currently carrying around, if his brutal fighting isn't already a giveaway]
