[dated to Sunday morning! because most of this stuff wouldn't be happening at night. it's an overcast morning, and chilly enough that there could be snow if those clouds get any heavier!

prince_number_7 is heading home with a small bag, having gone out to grab a few things quickly. the bag contains a few things from what looks like a hair salon.

shellsandlight is seated in the park, looking a bit underdressed considering the temperature. he doesn't seem very bothered by the cold (living at the bottom of an ocean means having to deal with it, after all), and is currently enjoying a variety of candies that are likely to make him end up sick, more from the rate at which he is consuming them than for their contents.

fadedsketch is having a bit of difficulty pushing a fair-sized "portable" generator down the street. he's heading for his naga friend's den, wanting to give him something to power the electric heaters he's going to be bringing by as well at a slightly later date. he's already brought no doubt dozens of blankets by now.

paopuspirit is stringing tinsel garlands around the old paopu tree near the beach. it's already had some lights strung around it, all the way up to the leaves. how he managed to get it up so neatly is a mystery however.

cheeryskies has just entered the library, a bag slung over her shoulder. she seems set for a day indoors, just reading!

beforeitburned has found his way to an outdoor ice rink that he's never noticed before. there are cubbies full of skates of every size near it, and he's given into a sudden, overwhelming urge to try skating.

Maybe we should have gotten something to hold stuff in.

[he sees that look. knows it. is wondering if he should grab one of those basket things from the front and pile electronics into it.]

[AND THEN THEY FOUND CHEAP LITTLE PLASTIC WASTE BINS THAT LOOKED LIKE BUCKETS.]

[OH GOD NO really. he's going to eep and cover his eyes, going purple in the face.]

[Yes. Yes, really. She's going to just. push him along past them oh my god.]

Look, food. Over there.

[he'll peek out from behind his hands at the mention of food!]

An entire section. Over there.

[She gives him more of a push. Looks like candy at the end of the aisle!]

[he's moving, he's moving! his teeth are going to rot out with all this human candy.]

[She's investigating, because why the hell not? She hasn't exactly eaten a large variety of things in the DR.]

[neither has he, really, aside from candy, which is why this section is distracting him greatly. what does he even try first?]

[She's ripping a bag of chips hanging up down to investigate. Chili-flavored!]

[oooh, spicy. he'll grab a different flavour out of curiosity. smoked bacon?]

[Trolls probably don't have bacon, huh?

Crunch.]

[probably not, no. he'll wait until after she's tried that one to try the one he brought down.]

How is it?

Alright, I guess.

[She's eating more! The spice will hit in a moment. It will be hilarious.]

[well in that case, he's going to try the chips he pulled down. he has no idea what bacon is, but these are pretty tasty!]

[Maybe he should check the ingredients. YOU'RE EATING SKIN no okay it doesn't say that or anything. Time to move further down. Oh look, canned goods.]

[he is loving these chips. they're so crunchy and flavourful and he's going to come back and get like three of every single kind here and hide them all in his tree.]

[She keeps munching as she reaches for other things, eventually pulling away a small... can... of meat? She holds it out for him to see. Potted meat.]

Is... what is that?

[that can't really be meat, can it?]

[YES. YES IT CAN.]

You want to open it?

I'm not so sure I do.

[what is he even saying, of course he's way too curious not to open it.]

[She moves the chips to hold them against her side with her arm, and pops open the can to investigate. And by investigate I mean give a curious sniff before wrinkling her nose and offering it out to him for the same purpose.]
