Kingdom Hearts, give me my... brainssssssssssss?

[Anyone in the downtown area, or who's particularly sensitive, will have just seen/heard/felt a huge blast of magic and Light coming from an alleyway. Kira is flinging out spells as fast as she can, but she's run out of ethers (damn her outfit for not having big pockets) and now has resorted to trying to keep up a Barrier as she tries to get out into a clear space so she can make a run for it. What's she running from?

Heartless.

Except that there seems to be two different groups of Heartless in this area, each fighting the other or going after people that they come across. Particularly horrifying is how some Heartless release their captured Hearts but don't fade into Darkness, instead turning on the 'normal' Heartless like the others. Yes, DR. There are zombie-Heartless on the loose. And Kira still doesn't know if they can infect people yet. You're welcome.]

[Kira musters up enough magic and manages to cast a weak Fire spell to help, but she's seriously depleting her resources now]

[she takes a moment to swing her axe at one of the zombie Heartless's head, sidestepping and then kicking another away as it comes at her.]

I've been fighting real life horror game monsters all month!

[Kira manages a weak Blizzard to keep trying to slow the Heartless down]

They're going after you! Try to get up on something high! They can't jump!

[one good things about them being zombies is that they're really dumb and can't climb and jump or open doors]

[there are some fire escapes and such on the sides of the buildings, but you better be quick because Kira's Barrier is wavering]

[Fire escape it is! She doesn't have too much of a problem clambering up once she's managed to get a hold, but stops a moment once she's cleared the railings and can look down.]

[Big brother will be between you and the Heartless lickety split! It takes him about fifteen seconds, but he whispers a Dark spell, and before you know it, Meteors are falling from the sky and he's racing to pull you out of the fray, leaving fiery damage in his wake.]
